Shadows try to engulf the small diamonds of light escaping the blanket of midnight blue. Inky darkness surrounds the planet, welcoming half of it to the cold and devoid, yet mysterious and beautiful side of the coin. Dark imitations chasing people without a whisper nor sound, stalking every possible thing, as they silently watch the world go by. Once bright and flamboyant colours have become dull and almost lifeless, covered by the blanket of midnight. Lights and shadows clashing, making it seem as though your in a house of mirrors, with pale intimations of you in all directions. Cars driving by, the hum of engines and the pull of the wheels against the black tar of the road. Houses lighting up at the sudden glimpse of illumination from the headlights of passing cars. An eerie silence washed over all things as they gave into the dark temptation of the witching hour. The blank windows of houses and buildings reflected the sooty black, yet brightly lit sky and the disk of luminous grays and dull silvers. By now, the hours of mystery and wonder were over, being pushed back as the morning was welcomed and all those who had given in to temptation, had been washed clean and had a new beginning full of new possibilities.
