One Step Closer [Discontinued]

You're No Fun

"Tzuyu!" I closed the fridge after getting no response. "Tzuyu?!" I waited for a few seconds before heading up the stairs towards our shared bedroom.
   "What do you want?" With a slight frown I walked over to the bed and sat down at the edge as she mumbled slightly.
   "Ooh were you sleeping?" It clearly showed that she was. Or at least trying to. Her eyes were closed and her face pressed against her textbook.
   "I tried to sleep." She mumbled once again before slowly getting up. Tzuyu sat on her knees as her small hands rubbed her eyes, unconsciously her lips formed a small pout. With a small smile, I leaned close and pecked her lips while wrapping my arms around her shoulders.
   "I'm sorry baby, go to sleep." I felt her head shake as she looked up.
   "No, I have to finish my homework." I groaned and looked at her textbook before standing up and taking the book over to the small table that contained our other books.
   "Do it later," I paused and sat down I front of her again while wrapping my arms around her like before.
   "What were you gonna say?" I stared at her in confusion while laying down on the bed, bringing her along with me.
   "I wasn't gonna say anything."
   "Then why did you wake me up? I had a very nice dream." Raising and eyebrow, I looked at her placing a small kiss on her nose.
   "A nice dream? Was I in it?" She shrugged her shoulders and then shook her head no.
"No, well yeah, but it wasn't nice because you were in it." I scoffed and rolled my eyes before getting out of bed.
   "Come on, let's go to the store, we ran out of," I paused for a few seconds thinking of the list.
"We're out of food, okay I get it. Let me just-" before she was able to finish, I took her legs and dragged her out of bed before picking her up and throwing her across my shoulder.
"Jungkook! Let me change!" I grinned as she started to hit my back trying to get down.
"You look great, let's go." I started walking out of the room and down the stairs as her body went limp.
"You're impossible." She mumbled and slowly wrapped her arms around my neck.
   After being downstairs, I took the car keys and shut the door.
   "Wait! My shoes!" I ignored her and opened the car door, sitting her down. Once she was inside, I moved around the car and entered. As soon as I looked over at her she formed a pout in her lips and crossed her arms.
   "Don't do that, you look so cute." She rolled her eyes and turned around.
   "I always look cute." I laughed and nodded, not denying the fact that she was right.

   "Hurry up Chewy! I'm about to pay!" I felt bad toward the people that were behind us in line. Just as the cashier scanned the last item, Tzuyu came sliding through her socks and gave me a gallon filled with ice cream.
   "You're so mean, I couldn't decide between this one or vanilla." I smiled and handed over my credit card as I wrinkled my nose slightly and brought Tzuyu by her sweater, more like my sweater.
   "Come on let's go." I left a small kiss on her nose and zipped up the sweater. Small giggles were heard as she slowly walked over to the end of the cash register. Just as she reached the end, she slipped over the tiled floor. Without second thought, I reached over and wrapped my arms around her waist before she collided with the floor.
   "You should really stop falling for me." I grinned slightly as she slightly glared then attempted to stand up.
   "I didn't fall, I slipped." She mumbled and soon after started filling the cart with the grocery bags.
   "Come," I paused for a moment and then leaned down a little, "get on." Her smile grew as she dropped the bag in her hands and cutely walked over behind. As soon as I felt her legs wrap around my waist, I placed my hands beneath her thighs and gently lifted her up higher, then placed the last bag inside the cart and pushed it away from the cash register.
   "You smell nice." I grinned slightly and proceeded to push the cart as she calmly moved her legs back and forth.
As soon as we reached the car I opened the door and turned around so she'd be able to get on. After she sat down, I placed the bags inside the car then drove off.
"Jungkook stop!" I frowned slightly and pressed the brakes on the car as soon as the words left her lips.
"What's wrong?" She also frowned slightly and shook her head.
"Something doesn't feel right, just take the other way." I nodded confused but still swerved into the other lane, it would take longer but as long as she was happy I would be to.
   Once reaching the house, Tzuyu had her head against the window as she slept peacefully. Not having the heart to wake her up, I took the groceries in and locked the car. Then before leaving, I gently picked Tzuyu up and carried her bridal style into the house. Trying not to wake her up, I laid her down on the bed and gently placed the blankets over her while softly carrying her hair.
   It was hard to think that she was the one that caused so much trouble the first few days of school. I smiled thinking back to the memories and laid a small kiss on her forehead before leaving the room. Before I was out the door I was able to notice how her lips curled upward in a small smile.
