(OK 👌🏽

Cody was staring at the back lf his hands. He noticed new little dots freckling his skin. He looked at the little black and brown dots spotting the rest of his body, the stretch marks on his sides and bad scars on his back and chest. He frowned at seeing all this. He pulled on a baggy tee shirt, a sweater ontop of that, along with sweatpants. His frame was barely visible, he was basically a moving sack of baggy cloth. He wore a rainbow bracelet, a beanie ontop his head. The boy had NF, type two. Luckily, it was mild and not too severe. He was oddly short, often picked on because of this and because of how feminine he was. Cody stammered when he spoke, his lover Leo finding this quite adorable. Cody knew his family didn't know of Leo Capulet. And he wished to keep it this way...he looked out the window, waving to leo who lived across the street.
Leo waved back, smiling as he brushed his teeth from the bedroom window.
Cody felt a small flutter in his heart and a flock of butterflies in his stomach.
He felt a bit confident, looking at his phone. Leo had texted him.
'Morning beautiful. You didn't sleep last night...is everything okay?'
His heart fluttered more. He looks looked at The word beautiful. Him? Beautiful?
This made cody smile. He texted back
'Everything's fine, love' he texted back as he walked into the living room, skipping breakfast again. He walked to the family pet, Moon. He poured dog food into the bowl, he was the most matured of the group. Although, his parents were out on a trip. He had the house to himself. The silence was deadly. It was as if all he could hear was the pitter patter of the rain drops against the window and roof. Moon, an elderly husky dog had glanced up at the small boy, Cody before going to eat. He wasn't sure if his owner was okay that day. Cody never liked intense storms.
The husky dog whimpered, nuzzling the owner she loved as get own pup wearily. Cody looked to moon. "Eat up". The boy in the pastel sweater said softly, patting the dog's head careingly. He loved the dog, he hoped Moon wasn't sick.
Moon began to eat. The husky wasn't sick at all. He was...overall, quite healthy. He was just old. Very old at that. Moon had been in the family since cody was a baby. And Cody, nearing the age of fifteen...ol' Moon was trudging closer to his last adventure. Cody got up, sitting next to the dog and petting him. He smiled softly, his phone buzzing. He checked it, seeing leo had texted him.
'Cody? Did you remember to eat?' Leo texted.
Cody could always eat later, right? Besides. He wasn't hungry at the moment.
'Yeah. About to eat now..' Cody texted back, in silence. He heard an odd noise. He looked to his Husky. Moons chest rose and fell slowly some breaths would sound like painful wheezing and whimpering. Cody's eyes widened as he walked back to moon, sitting by him. "Moon..?" He asked, voice worried.
Cody pet the family dog to comfort him. His eyed worried, sad. He gently carried the dog to the living room, sitting on the couch with him. He had bags under his worry filled eyes. Moon wheezed even more. The poor old dog was having trouble getting air in and out. He whimpered, nuzzling against Cody as if to comfort him. Moon stood up and pushed his head into Cody's chest. The dog knew his time was coming soon... he was afraid. Moon wasn't afraid of death he was afraid of leaving cody alone. He knew of how Cody was treated when he left for what the humans called 'school', having taken note of how Cody would leave fine yet return with a bruise on his cheek or such. Cody pet Moon, knowing Moon's time was coming soon too. He remembered all the imaginary adventures he had with Moon, when the dig was younger. Death would just have to be Moon's final adventure. His eyes got glassy as he thought of this, blinking rapidly. He kissed the top of Moon's head. "Good boy". He smiled softly. Cody wiped his eyes, his phone buzzed bit he ignored it. He continued to pet his dog lovingly, praising him with 'good dogs' and 'Good boy's in a way of comfort. Moon licked Cody's cheek weakly. He wheezed continuously this time he didn't recover...instead the dog cody loved so much fell limp on his very lap dead. Cody paused, a muffled gasp escaping him. He felt tears start to trail down his cheeks and he weeped quietly, his shoulders shaking. He lifted the dead dog up, and this pained him. He wanted to collapse abs beg for Moon to wake up. To stop playing games. Cody cried still, walking out where pain poured down. Cody got soaked in rain, his face already drowned in tears. He kneeled down to the beautiful willow tree and burying him by the tree, giving his  pet the proper burial Moon deserved. He sniffed, wiping his eyes. He wiped his eyes, looking down in A grieving way. "Till we meet again, Moon..." Cody said, voice cracking from holding back sobs.
