Alex's pov:

I walk over to the sofa on plonk myself down. "Careful, silly, you'll hurt yourself!" Ellie says in a worried tone. "Ellie I'm fine, I promise, it doesn't even hurt and it's healing up quickly." I reply. "Okay, if you say so, now come over here, let's watch some Geordie shore, yeah?" She says with a huge grin on her face.

I go and sit next to her, she leans her head on my shoulder and I gently place my arm around her. She then rests her arm around my waste. This feels right, I feel safe, could I have this kind of feelings for Ellie? I mean, even if I did, I would have no chance, she's straight, and I'm almost sure that she doesn't like me in that way.

Ellie's pov:

This is perfect, cuddles on the sofa, watching my favourite program... With her. I wish I could stay like this forever, but before I know it, the episode is over.

Neither of us move, we just sit there together, in silence. It's not even awkward. "I'm just going to hop into the shower, where do you keep your towels?" She asks. I go into the bathroom and find Alex a towel, I then help her to the bathroom, "are you sure you don't need any help?" I say with a cheeky smile. "As lovely as that sounds, I think I'll be fine Ellie" she replies with a giggle. "well be careful, I'm just going to go for a quick run, I'll be back in a bit" I say as I shut the door behind me.

Wow. Did I actually just say that, oh my god. What was I thinking? Alex doesn't like me that way, I basically asked if I could get in the shower with her, that would be great, don't get me wrong, but now things could be awkward between the two of us.

Alex's pov:

What? Did she mean that? Like oh my god, I wanted to just say okay, hop in, but she was joking so that would have been extremely awkward, I'm acting like some sort of hormonal teenager, saying that I want to have sex with Ellie... Even though I do, I don't even know what has gotten in to me, I have always thought that I was straight.
