The empty feeling shouldn't at all exist. To have your parents go to things to support you or simply be there shouldn't be a want. They should be on top of it. A "how was your day" should be a daily asked question. The things that should be there will never be there. Just an empty hole inside. One that can't be filled. Nothing could fill something that has always been empty. Something that was never even there.
