The Old Castle

Chapter 2. Arrival

France, a city of love , maybe not every part. After I arrived at France train station, I search for a woman that Mdm Carlotta has sent. I search and do some roundabouts for several times. Finally, I find a woman holding a board with my name on it. Then when she saw me, she makes me follow her. The woman and I go in the carriage. She sits beside me when the carriage start to move. The woman was wearing a black dress with a black feathered hat ..Her face was covered with laces that makes her face could not be seen by anybody.

About 15 minutes later, we arrived. It seems not bad at all, the grass is quite green, colorful trees filled the pathway. Suddenly, the woman beside me start to speak. Her voice is dark and heavy.She said " My name is Miss Cautstaff, head mistress and the maids of the old castle. When you arrived at the hall, don't talk ! " " Yes Mam, I mean Miss " replied me.

We get in front of the castle. An old handsome man was opening the door for us. His face was sad, so sad. I wondered what happened to him here. The hall was kinda dark. The lights weren't on. A maroon red carpet covered the floor. The carpet has little holes in it like it was so old. Giant paintings of royals were hung in the walls. On the edge, little spider webs were filled. Miss Cautstaff left me on the hall, I was with the man that opened  the door. He show me my room. On our way, I asked his name, he said his name was Mr. Bernard. I say goodbye to him and enter the room. When I say goodbye to him. A little girl peeked from her door. She had blue eyes and wavy blond hair just like me.  I really want to know her. But it's time for me to go to bed. It's noon now so I unpacked my suitcase.

The room is a little dark. Yellow spot light was on the ceiling and in the top of my bed. The bed was really similar like my bed back on my castle. But, the pillows was little bit dusty. So I think, this room was so old, it never be used. Under my bed was a round pink carpet, my favorite color. Then there was a dresser, bathroom, a little room of my dresses, and a shelf. On the door of my room, there was a bell. I push it, nothing happened. I was a very curious girl. Suddenly a maid came to my room. What can I help you miss? Asked the maid. I think for a minute, and ask her if she can fix the lights of my room. Well, turned out well, my room was now as bright as it used to be. I lay on my bed and put the portrait of my family beside me. I felt hungry. But there's no food. I started crying on my pillow, and my soft pink pillow got soaked and wet because of my tears.

Caught crying, suddenly a giant mirror beside my dresser opened. Then a little girl came out. I scream. The little girl started talking, you must be Allyssa. Hi, my name is Caitlyn! Nice to meet you ! Why are you crying?...with a soft voice I said to her .."yes my name is Allyssa,  I cry because I felt hungry, but there's no food, I've just got here several hours ago. Where are you from " " well, I was born here, but I never see my father. My mom said my father left me. By the way I want to tell you there's a sandwich here for you, also please meet me tomorrow morning" " ok "

The next morning, I feel very dizzy because I only have sandwich for my dinner. But I have a ,bath and got dressed. Caitlyn was waiting for me in front of my room. We went down and have a breakfast .We play in the garden, talk each other and now it's time for an afternoon bed. I go grab my blanket and went down on a deep sleep, with my favorite bunny doll..
