Liam’s P.O.V.

I heard Louis feet running around on the tile floors, followed by screams and laughter. I walked into the loft wondering what was going on, until I heard a dog bark that made me freeze in my tracks.” Lou”, I said proceeding cautiously,” um, yes Li”, I rounded the corner to the loft,” whatcha got there”. He looked up from his criss-cross position on the floor while holding the dog,” um, what do you think it is”. Louis stared at me with slightly begging eyes,” maybe it’s a cat”,I said sarcastically, obviously.

Louis stood and held the puppy beside his face, so I had to deal with two puppy dog faces.” Li”, he started,” I know you’re going to say no, but could you please consider keeping him”. I sighed,” Lou we ca-“, he interrupted,” but I’ve already named him, Kevin”, he pleaded.

He put the dog down and it walked on its stubby little legs to sit next to me and look up, making eye contact; it was like Louis expertly trained it in a couple of hours.” Lou, why exactly do you think we should have a dog”, I asked pinching the bridge of my nose,” because sometimes you’re out with friends and I miss you.

Kevin resembles you a bit and that makes me a little less lonely”, he explained. The dog then laid its head down on my shoe then yawned, falling asleep.” Okay Louis”, he brightened up,” we’re going too keep him”, he questioned,” yes”, I answered,” YAAAAAAYYYYYY”, he yelled at the top of his lungs waking Kevin.
