Chapter 1

"Just because we don't talk doesn't mean I don't think about you. I'm just trying to distance myself because I know I can't have you" I was repeating these words over and over again in my head. They're perfect in my situation.

~Flashback~

10 years ago a family moved to the next house. They were from Greece. My parents liked them from the first time they saw them and they became friends. They had 2 children. Ariana and Niall. Ariana was in the same age as me and Niall was in the same age as my sister. They became friends with my sister but I was a lonely kind and I didn't want to make friends. After 3 months they were in my house all the time. One day my sister invited them to watch a movie. I was sitting in my room reading "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" when someone knock my door

"Who is it?"

Before I realized it Ariana was in my bedroom. She had long,brown hair and she was a little bit taller than me.

"I'm sorry for entering like that but I was so bored. Why did you not come to watch the movie with us? What are you doing alone? What are you reading?"

She was asking so many questions while she explored my room

"I'm reading Harry Po..."

She was screaming before I finished

"You have to be kidding me. I love those books"

And this is how Ariana and I became friends. Our passion for books brought us closer. We became really close year after year. When we were 10 we went to a birthday party. We played spin the bottle in the basement when Ariana had to kiss Travis I was feeling so jealous and then I understood that I love her.

After 8 years from that I still love her. I love her more and more every day even if she has changed. When we were 16 she started to hang out with the famous from our school. She want us to call her Aria cause she thinks Ariana is childish. She has a boyfriend, Zayn and I don't like him at all. Not because he has my world in his hand but because he is the bad boy from the school. She doesn't deserve someone like him. She deserves someone better.

We still talk but not every day. She doesn't let me talk to her in school and she comes to my house when she needs me to do her homework. My sister says that she's using me but I don't care. She says that I'm blind from love and I don't see the real Aria. I know what Aria is doing with me but it's the only way to talk to her. I'm the school nerd. I don't have any chance with her. But I love her and nothing can change that.

But I can't stand it anymore. I love her so much. I know I'm not what she wants but Zayn flirts with all the girls. She doesn't deserve something like that.

I have to go to sleep cause I have school tomorrow. The only thing that calms me down is the fact that I'll see her
