Remnants of broken siege engines, swords and shields litter the fields outside, a painful reminder of a past war. This castle shows signs of decay after being around for ages, but its inhabitants are determined to repair any weaknesses to make sure this castle will be around for ages to come. This is the castle, Silverhammer, A shadow of its past self. The leaders and bold worriers of Silverhammer use to be feared. Now the pose no threat to their former enemies.
The flag is made up of an outlined cross dividing a background in 4 square parts in white, light gold and light silver.Their emblem consists of two dragonteeth surrounded by leaves, but the emblem isn't shown on the standard flag. The emblem stands for their endurance, their grief and their pain. Or so they'd have you believe. To the once great and powerful leaders the flag is nothing more than a reminder.
But, as they try to regain the pride they once had. A new battle rages on outside the city gates. Two trained armies fight each other without knowing the true reason, but the victor is obvious. The dead and wounded of the losing side lay in large groups across the village and the faces of the fighters are grim with fatigue and anguish, they want to give up, but somehow keep fighting. 3 days past and Silverhammer is on the verge on defeat. Panic spread through the city like a plaque. The enemy they fought was new and unheard of the armor. The armor struck fear into the warriors of Silverhammer.
This set of armor has a pointed helm with a face guard shaped in the face of a lion. Attached to the top are feather-shaped pieces of metal, covering the entire top of the helm. The shoulders are fairly pointy, tall and huge. They're decorated with three sword handles on each side, they're all pointing downwards as if a sword has been pierced through the shoulderguards. The upper legs are covered by rounded, fully covering cuisses. The lower legs are protected by greaves which have several arrow heads attached in a row on the outer sides, as if arrows have pierced the legs.
The swords they had where so advanced and dangerous. A very short, slim, straight blade made of copper is held by a grip wrapped in extravagant, onyx bear leather.Because it only has a razor-sharp point this weapon will make sure your enemies are full of holes with deadly speed and precision. The bows were amazing and would be something to gawk at if they were yours. This first-rate shortbow has been expertly constructed of amazingly strong dwarven steel. Its string is made from fine dragon sinew, it's a very uncommon material around these parts of the world. The limbs have been decorated with small sigils and end in long points shaped like tusks. The handle is wrapped in dark leather and decorated with painted decorations. The long quiver is made from reptilian skin and is supposed to be worn around the archer's back. The outer side has been decorated with small sigils, which probably costed a fair bit of money. In the hands of any archer this bow is capable of firing arrows up to 151 meters while still retaining lethal power.
As the silverhammers charged at the wall of shields. The durable rounded coffin shield, made from ebonsteel, offers a tough safeguard, especially against stabbing attacks and piercing attacks.Rightfully so as well, as this shield was forged by ebonwood elves in a pyro workshop. The shield's edges are ornamented with small spikes and have been decorated with a scaly texture. Its center is decorated with bones and complex metalwork. It's clear this shield never failed its master. Damage and trauma made by who knows what leave mementos of beating the odds, but one this is for sure: death will have to wait a little while longer.
