wonwoo walked in to the warm apartment, leaving wet stains everywhere he stepped on. his clothes and hair were soaked with water, as he'd gone to school without an umbrella, knowing well it would rain when he had to walk back. but of course he had to be stubborn and too lazy to take the very heavy object with him. he put his bag on the ground, hoping with all his soul that his laptop would be okay. his whole life was on it.
the black haired boy was still shivering from the cold air and the wet clothes that were rubbing the water on his skin every time he made a movement. wonwoo looked around the living room, having noticed another pair of shoes in front of the entrance to the apartment. deciding to take a warm shower, the boy took off his coat, hanging it in front of the heater. he then proceeded to walk to the bathroom without making much of a mess, still wondering where the love of his life was. wonwoo chuckled at his own thinking, and stepped into the warm shower, letting the water heat up his body and make him feel all relaxed. "wonwoo?" he suddenly heard the familiar voice say, or more like yell, from the other side of the door. "yes?" he asked, smiling when hearing mingyu's voice.
"oh good, it's you. i thought some burglar had broken into our apartment and went to take a shower" he heard the younger boy chuckle, that sound being like music to wonwoo's ears. he didn't know how he still hadn't gotten used to hearing that every day, even tho they had been together for long enough already. he let out a small laugh too, and noticed himself grinning like a love struck idiot again. "i'll be with you in a bit" he said to the other boy, and heard him walk away from the door.
wonwoo stepped into the shared bedroom they had with the younger boy, noticing him leaning against the headboard, reading something. wonwoo looked at him surprised, mingyu definitely the type to read actual books. wonwoo was a huge book worm, but he'd never managed to make his boyfriend even pick up a book. he smiled a bit, looking at the brown haired boy's concentrated face as he read the text. wonwoo walked over to the bed, now in his oversized jumper, hair a bit wet and fluffy from the shower.
mingyu seemed to finally take notice in the other boy, lifting his gaze up from the book. wonwoo could now see it being the first book of the harry potter series, the philosopher's stone. wonwoo had read the whole series many times, and it made him happy to see mingyu finally reading it after endless complaining from wonwoo. "hi" mingyu said, smiling a bit, and wonwoo sat on the bed. the younger boy turned his gaze back to the book. the shorter boy looked at his precious boyfriend for a bit, then getting fully on the bed, and positioning himself in between the other's long legs, resting his head on the warm chest. he just laid there for a while, feeling mingyu's muscular chest rising up and down as he breathed calmly, focusing on the book.
soon enough wonwoo got bored, and turned his head so he could look at mingyu's pretty face. what did he ever do to deserve him? "so you finally decided to read it huh?" he said in an amused tone, turning his gaze back down. "yeah, i figured you weren't going to let me watch the movies before i read the books" mingyu replied with a smirk, looking down at wonwoo. he let his other arm, that wasn't holding the book, wander around the older boy's stomach, or waist more so. wonwoo smiled, knowing that was true. "do you like it?" he asked, not wanting to end the conversation yet.
"yeah, it's interesting so far" mingyu answered a bit lazily, now focusing his eyes on the page again. the shorter boy let out a short sigh and thought of something to do. he pulled out his phone from his pocket, opening it and putting on 'the fault in our stars' audio book, knowing he was too tired to actually focus on a real book. pushing his headphones in his ears, and taking a more comfortable position, he closed his eyes. he was now laying even more on mingyu, his head leaning against the other's collarbone, legs tangles together.
breathing in mingyu's lovable scent, wonwoo let his mind calm down. these little moments made him happy. away from the stress university was giving him, and all worries, just enjoying spending time with the boy he loved.
