     Today I feel like crap. I sigh and walk into a Starbucks. When I look up I see a ridiculously cute barista standing in front of me. "Hi I'm Beca. What'll you have today?" She says. Omg!!! Her voice is like an angel's! "Excuse me miss... I asked what'll you be having today?" She repeats. "Oh, I'll have a hot chocolate with cinnamon." I say sounding how I feel, depressed. "Are you ok miss? You seem a little sad." She says. "Yeah, just a tough day at work." I reply. "Well I hope your day gets better.
     By the way what's your name so I can write it on your cup?" She asks. "Chloe. Thanks for your concern Beca." I reply. I walk to a seat when they call my name a few minutes later. I grab my cup and I look at it. There's a drawing of a little girl hugging a teddy bear. And under it, it reads, 'Hope your day gets better! Sincerely Beca.' I smile and sit back down. That surely made my day. I look back and the barista is taking another order. I look back and take a sip from my cup.
(Next Thursday)
     I walk into Starbucks again, because I had another hard day and I wanted to drown my sorrows out with a hot chocolate. I almost forgot about Beca, but when I walked in I immediately remembered her. "Hi Chloe! Same as last time?" She asks. I nod and walk to where I usually sit. This time she walks over and hands it to me. "Hey, do you want to talk about your day or would you rather me leave you alone?" She asks. "Sure, is it ok with you? Like, I mean are you cool with me ranting?" I ask. "Sure I'm off as of now so I've got all night." She says.
     "Ok, so my boss decides to cut my pay check because I'm "slacking off." In my defense there was no one there to teach. And to make matters worse my boyfriend decides to break up with me for some blonde named Kate." I don't even realize I'm crying until I stop talking. Beca scoots over to me and evelopes me in a hug. "You want to get dinner later? We could talk or just hang." She suggests. "Sure, it'll probably help me get my mind off of things for now.
     "Here's my number, text me when you're ready and I'll come pick you up around eight." She says handing me a small slip of paper. I look at her and smile, she wipes my tears with her thumbs and I grab her hand as if I were saying, "thanks but I'm ok." She puts her other hand on top of mine rubbing her thumb across my hand. I stand up and we walk to our cars in a comfortable silence. I look down at my cup and see a teddybear hugging a little girl with red hair. 'Damn she's a good artist,' I think getting into my car. I text her saying;

Chloe: Hey Beca, where do you want to go?
Beca: who is this?
Chloe: Chloe
Beca: Oh, wherever
Chloe: ok follow me and I'll pick a place.
//Time Skip// (Next Thursday)
     I didn't really have that bad of a day, I just want a hot chocolate and I to ask Beca on another date. To my surprise when I walk in she's nowhere to be seen. I frown when suddenly a pair of small hands go over my eyes. "Guess who." She says. "Beca?" I guess. "Man you're good at this." She chuckles. I turn around so I'm face to face with the beautiful barista. "Why aren't you working?" I ask. "I am I just wanted to surprise my favorite red head!" She says happily. I smile and wrap my hands around the brunette. "I was wondering, after you get off do you maybe want to grab dinner?" I ask her smiling.
"Sure. I'd love to!" She smiles back. Well, things got only better from there. We went on more dates, got married and we adopted two beautiful kids.
