I could hear them behind me. Their paws whipping up dirt behind them as they came closer to me.
I pushed myself to run faster, even though my knees felt like they could buckle under my tiny weight at any second.
The wind hit my face hard, drying my tears that still fell, the burning anger and hurtin my eyes.
Their growls grew louder every second, u tried to push myself more to run even faster, but it was as if I had ran out of energy. As if I was completely drained.
I felt myself slowing down, but my mind was still racing. I'm screwed.
I let myself fall onto my knees and the two wolves circle around, staring me down like a staring contest as if they were hunting me down or I was their prey.
They guided me back to the pack house, I decided that I'll walk as far as I can go, then make another run for it.
But, when I tried to make a run for it, I was snatched up by wolves.
"Well you should be happy." Everest commented.
"Why would I be happy?" I asked her.
"We are going to die now. Isn't that what you wanted? And now we are going to die in the hands of our mate." She huffed.
"His hands are too busy holding some other girl and sucking her face, he'll just probably send someone to do it for him." I told her.
Well, it's not like I had anything to live for anyway.
