Edd scribbled in his sketchbook, tongue stuck out in concentration as to not mess up. He heard footsteps coming down the stairs and immediately brought his gaze up to see who it was.

"Edd! Have you seen my flask?" Tom walked into the room, looking annoyed.

"Uh- no," Edd slammed his sketchbook close, face brightening pink.

"Um... what are you drawing, Edd?" Tom raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing.."

"Edd."

"NOTHING!"

Tom snatched the sketchbook and ran off, opening it to see what was inside.

"STOP!" Edd screeched and raced after him.

The blue clad male locked himself in the bathroom and the sound of pages being flipped were heard. Then there was laughing.

"AW, EDD LIKES MATT!" Tom swung open the door and ruffled the shorter male's hair, revealing the many drawings of Matt.

"G-Give it back!" Edd grabbed it back and held it close to his chest. "Don't tell him..."

"Why not?" Tom grinned.

"He's gonna think i'm weird!" He whimpered. "And besides, he only likes himself."

"Well, we're gonna have to figure that out ourselves."

And with that, Tom bolted up the stairs and to Matt's room, slamming the door open. The ginger was laying on his bed taking selfies, hugging a pillow to his chest.

"MATT! EDD LIKES Y-"

Before he could finish Edd burst in and tackled him down, covering Tom's mouth with his hand.

"LYING! He's lying!" Edd looked at Matt with a red face.

"What?" Matt tilted his head slightly and sat up. A confused look was plastered on his perfect face.

Tom shoved Edd off of him and stood up, brushing himself off.

"What I was trying to say-" Tom glared at the cola boy, "-was Edd likes you~!"

"Yeah? Who wouldn't like me?" Matt stuck out his bottom lip.

"No, no," Tom sighed in annoyance. "I mean in a more-than-friends way." All Edd could do was stare pleadingly at him. "Like, he wants to make out with you."

Matt's eyes widened in realization. "O-Oh..." he muttered. "I, uh..."

"Tom!" Edd stood up and punched his arm, laughing nervously. "Pssh, such a jokester..." But there was no playing it off.

"D-Do you really feel that way?" Matt was blushing a little.

"Um.." Edd searched for words. "I- well- heh- maybe...?"

"My work here is done~" Tom smiled and walked out of the room. He shut the door gently behind him.

"I... I like you too, Edd," Matt made his way over to him. "I didn't think you would accept me, though."

Edd offered him a smile and pulled him into a hug. He kissed Matt's cheek. Matt giggled and moved his head so their lips were pressed against each other. The brunette's eyes widened in surprise but found himself melting into the candy-flavored kiss.

After what seemed like forever but not long enough they pulled away.

"I-I'm sorry-" Matt began.

"It's fine!" Edd cut him off and smiled. "Can we... do that again?"

Matt laughed and nodded. "Sure."
