Basically I understand where people are coming from when they say they don't like Breezepelt.
He came off as a snobby spoiled jerk, someone that you hate instantly. But for me I saw an emotionly broken cat, someone to identify with.
Imagine this for a second....
You had a father who was married to a women who had three children with him. Okay... he divorced with her and married you mother and had you. Only for you to see him still loving the woman he divorced with and the children they had.
Now also imagine you seeing that woman and those kids every time at a meeting.
Now think about how your mother is struggling to stay afloat and keep you happy. All you want is acceptance from your father. He never gave you it. You see your parents constantly fight in front of your eyes.
Your alone completely alone.
But someone tells you, you can get revenge.
Wouldn't you take it?
I mean he went about it all wrong but I can see why.
He wanted to kill Jayfeather to get revenge on him and his father.
Lionblaze for the same reason.
He felt like the world was in his paws.
The world crashed for him and he tried to fix it.
I wish he and Hollyleaf talked or had more book time together.
Breezepelt is actually in my top 20 and possibly 15 favorite warrior cats.
Again the world crashed for him and he tried to fix it and feel right with him.
*In front of Breezepelt now* Anyways Breezepelt I hope you get some redemption as you remain one of my favorite potential cats.
