Not so dear past,
You have rented a room in my head,
Making me toss whole night in bed,
Like a picture half done,
This pause in life is no fun,
Am I the only one?
With memories to mend.
Did only I, walk this road with a dead end.
What looked like the end, turns out it was a bend.
You had me locked,
But the plan to block,
Seems to have rot,
As much as I want to shed of past,
Move on fast with a new cast,
I know you will still always be a part.
But let's unknot and give future a shot.
For all we know, I just need to find new ways of connecting these dots.
Enough and more has been said and done
Just need to remember to paint my pages one by one.
