Membrane and Dib talk

Dib got to work a few minutes early and he walked to his side of the lab station.

Dib walked slowly until he went passed the "baby sanctuary"

It was a sanctuary we're intelligent baby go to work out their intelligence these kids were smarter than most people in college, They keep good care of them it wasn't like a Sanctuary you put wild animal in it was more like a daycare but with more high-tect technology.

Such as but not limited to self- rocking crib, robotic lullaby Master,and self robot diaper makers.

Dib loves babies and missed when Kaylee and Kaylum were babies, unfortunately his train of thougth was interrupted when he heard his boss calling him.

Dib walked up to him and asked him what he needed.

"Dib go to the station with professor Membrane"He instructed

Dib turn to see Membrane already their,Dib calmed himself down and walked up to Membrane and sat his equipment down.

People were around so they didn't speak that were just working on their projet.

Then after about an hour a siren went off calling the four man in the room,They ran fast to the metal door leaveing Dib and Membrane alone.

For the first few minute they want complete silence no noise but the sound of moving rest tubes and liquid chemicals.

Then silence was ended when Membrane clear his throat to get Dib's attention.

Dib rolled his eyes and turn to his father.

Membrane and Dib haven't been vary close since Dib told him he was dating Zim he was mad but it wasn't that bad,But when Dib told them they were engage he went ballistic Dib was upset but he still invited him to the wedding...

He didn't show

It didn't bother Dib much he went on with his life happily,Until him and Membrane were working together they didn't have anything to said to each other so most days they don't unless they really have to.

"What is it Membrane"Dib harshly narrowing his eyes

"Son I...

"I'm not your son and your not my father"Dib quietly shouted

"Dib I'm sorry"Membrane apologized

Dib was shocked,Membrane never apologize once in his life assuming he was always right simply because he was the smartest person in town.

"Wait is that why you called this moring?"Dib asked

"Yeah,I didn't know you have children?"Membrane told him sounding hurt

Zim was pregnant for 9 months which is why Dib wasn't allowed to leave the house but when Kaylee and Kaylum were born they Didn't tell Membrane thinking he probably wonldnt be interested in them anyways.

"I didn't think you would care"Dib admitted

"Well I do and I would love to meet my grandkids"Membrane said with hopfull eyes

One part want to have a real father son relationship with Membrane but then the other part of him want to tell him off and say it was to late for him to be part of his kids or his life.

Then he remember how much Kaylee and Kaylum wanted to meet their grandfather,And Dib knew it was unfair to let his feelings for his father to his Kids.

"Alrigth Dad you can meet Kaylee and Kaylum next Sunday"Dib muttered

"Really?Kaylee and Kaylum?"
Membrane questioned

"Don't push it old man"Dib angerly muttered

"Sorry"Membrane chuckled

Then another siren with off calling Dib.

"Dib please come to the
"baby sanctuary" immediately"
The voice lady reported

Dib walked to the baby Sanctuary extremely nervous.
