It was just another normal day at the Nordics. Lukas, as always, was trying to get Emil to say 'big brother' to him again, "Call me big brother!"
"I'm not saying it," the Icelandic retorted.
Norway went closer to Iceland, "Come on, please."
Emil was getting even more annoyed, "Why should I? What's in it for me?"
"You know you want to."
"Nei, I don't," Emil exclaimed at the Norwegian.
"Big brother!" Lukas ordered.
"Nei!"
"Big brother!" he repeated.
"Nei, I won't say it," Emil replied.
"Big brother!"
"Nei!" Iceland shook his head slightly, showing he wouldn't do so.
Denmark swung his arm around Norway's shoulder, "Okay, boys, let's go get some beer. Norway, my friend, what you need is a beer."
"No!" Lukas yelled.
Iceland rose his hand, "Actually, I'll take one."
"Call me 'Big Brother'!" Lukas exclaimed.
"Nei, I wont!" Suddenly, the Norwegian began to chase the Icelandic around the room.
Emil of course took off into a run, "Sweden! Help me!"
Lukas grabbed his arm, "You'll call me big brother, even if it's the last thing you do."
"Not even when I'm dead!" Emil retorted.
"Please!" tears filled Norway's eyes, and soon enough fell down his cheek.
"Hn? Lukas? Are you . . . Crying?" Emil wondered.
"SHUT UP!" Lukas yelled through tears. This continued as he walked into the kitchen.
With a sigh, Emil followed him into the kitchen, "Lukas . . . "
"What?" the Norwegian asked while wiping away tears.
"Hey, look at me," Iceland ordered sweetly.
Lukas did as asked, "Yeah?"
Emil held Lukas's face gently and wiped away tears as well for him. Norway was surprised at his companions sudden change in attitude. "Hey, don't cry." Lukas quickly hugged Emil.
The Icelandic was first stunned then finally relaxed, "Please call me 'Big Brother'."
"Why?" Emil questioned.
"I-I don't know. It's a family tradition?" he guessed.
"Well, is it?"
Norway then whispered into Iceland's ear, "I don't know." A slight blush came across Emil's cheeks. Lukas kissed his dear brother's cheek, "Please." The blush darkened, shade by shade. A slight smile came to the Norwegian's face, "Just call me big brother."
With a small mumble, he answered, " . . Big, . . . Brother . . ."
Norway hugged Iceland tight then loosened his grip to kiss him on the forehead, "Thank you."
His blush was now completely noticeable, "Ja, Ja."
Suddenly, the other Nordics entered the kitchen, only to see the two boys close to one another. Emil was completely red in the face while Lukas was a small shade. "Hey there, friends," Denmark said slowly while holding a camera.
"Shut up, stupid Dane," Emil exclaimed.
Norway choked Matthias with his own tie, "Knock or something next time." Over to the side, Finland giggled while Sweden just stood there. But by the looks of it, this was the beginning of a beautiful, . . .
. . . Relationship.
