Sarah's POV:

I was sleeping in my bed when I heard my door being pushed opened, I looked and saw our family's Snubbull Zoey running at me.

"Wait Zoey don't!"

But it was too late Zoey jumped onto my stomach and ran all over my bed trying to get me up. I finally gave in and got out of bed and got dressed I walked into the kitchen my mom and Espeon were making pancakes for breakfast.

"Good morning Sarah how did you sleep last night?"

I sat down on one of the barstools and laid my head on the counter

"I slept pretty well, up until the point of Zoey running in and jumping on my stomach. Now I bet there is going to be a bruise on my stomach now."

"You won't get a bruise. Can you go wake up your sisters?"

"Yeah sure."

I stood up and walked to my room and got Zoey to follow me into my younger sisters room I stood in the middle of the room and looked at Zoey and said

"Zoey use roar."

Zoey used roar and all of my sisters jumped up screaming

"What the heck was that for!" yelled Brooke

"Mom told me to wake me to wake you up. And be grateful that I didn't tell her to use lick."

"Yeah that would have been disgusting." said Riley

They all got out of bed and walked to the kitchen where pancakes, eggs and bacon were just finished cooking. We all served ourselves and began to eat our food.

"So Sarah you get to go choose your starter Pokémon today, is that right?" asked Heather

"Yes and I'm so excited!"

"Sarah your fifteen and you are just getting your starter, we all already have one, and plus a pretty good amount of Pokémon. I have Chespin, Riley has Chikorita, Heather has Piplup, Taylor has Snivy, dad has Chimchar which is now an Infernape, and mom has Fennekin which is now a Delfox. Who are you going to pick?"

"Well I haven't had time to go on a Pokémon journey because of my medicine but now I've gotten the okay to go and I'm not planning on wasting anytime. And as for my starter it's a secret I'm going too go pick it up on my skate board and come back and show you all and go off on my journey."

"Sounds like a plan, hurry up and eat your food so you can get going."

I finished my food and put my plate in the sink, grabbed my skateboard and ran out the door. I live on the border of Lumiose City . When got closer to the center of the city I stopped at my dads car shop to see what he was doing. I walked in and my dad's Gallade was putting some car parts away

"Good morning Gallade."

"Gallade." He waved at me as I continued through the garage only to see my dad's Empoleon and Garchomp holding up a car while dad was making some repairs under it

"Hi dad, hi Empoleon, hi Garchomp."

My dad came out from under the car covered in engine grease

"Hey Sarah what's up."

"I'm heading down to Professor Sycamores lab to pick my starter just stopped by  to say good morning."

"Oh yeah that's right I'm heading home so I can be there when everyone see's who you picked, and your send off."

"Alright then see you at home, bye everyone!"

All of the Pokémon said bye and went to help my dad wrap up the shop for the morning. I continued down the path to the lab. When I finally made it to the Pokémon Lab I ran up to the door and pushed it open, I walked inside and called out
