"Persy darling!" My mother calls out as she gently knock on my bedroom door. I quickly opened it to receive a warm hug from her. "How was your day sweetie?" she asked cupping my cheeks. I flashed her a sweet smile, "It was lovely, mother"

We went downstairs to the dining hall where the servants prepared our supper. I sat beside mom as she pour me a glass of water. Our servants were lined up at my back waiting for orders. My mother has always been so protective that no one could come near me. 

I am the only one she has,

I knew she was hurt and lonely for my father Zeus, the God of all Gods wasn't loyal to her. I barely see my father since my mother Demeter wouldn't let me. But at times my father would secretly visit me in the gardens and have a little talk with me.

Our supper came to an end as I slowly stood up from my seat and fix my dress. "The food was appetizing, Thank you for the dinner. I shall head back to my room now" I speak pecking my mother's left cheek. She pat my head and smiled at me as I walk out of the dining room.

I changed to a nightgown ready to sleep but I was feeling scared. I touched my chest feeling my heart beats fast. "Will I have that dream again?" I muttered taking deep breaths to calm myself. These past few nights, I often dream about a man I haven't ever seen. He has a silver hair that lights up in the dark, it looks beautiful but somehow there was this dark aura around him. I couldn't see his entire face and he was always reaching out for me. The scary thing was that I could hear screams and sobs whenever I try to reach for his hand.

It truly bothers me, "I wish I'd stop having those dreams" I sighed finally laying on the bed as I close my eyes. Soon enough I entered the dreamland, I could see the silver haired man standing from a far and I am too afraid to approach him. 

"Just wait for me.. my Persephone.." the man muttered turning around to face me but before our eyes met I woke up with sweat all over my body. 

"Not again please" I mumbled touching my chest as I breath heavily. Suddenly, I heard a knock from my door "Come in" I speak. The door opened to reveal my mother Demeter the Goddess of Harvest. "Oh dear, why are you sweating? Perhaps you had a nightmare?" she asked as I weakly nod "But I'm okay now" I assured her but she still came to my side and hug me. 

"Mother, I hate to worry you. I'm really fine" I said. "Fine, if you say so" she sighed. "What brings you here early in the morning?" I asked. "I came to tell you that I'll visit Olympus today for an important meeting of the Gods" she explained. "That's great, May I come with you?" I asked in hope but she quickly turned me down. "I'm sorry Persy but not just yet okay?" she muttered cupping my cheeks as she kissed me on the forehead and left.

"Why can't I come? I'm the Goddess of Spring" I mumbled entering the spacious bath. After I had a fresh bath, I picked a comfortable dress to wear and went to the garden. It's the only place I could go aside from the mansion. This is the time I wish that my mother wouldn't be so protective over me. "I wish to meet other gods and goddesses or the mortals but unfortunately I'm stuck in here" I muttered plucking the narcissus flower on the ground.

The moment the roots of the flower was pulled out from the soil, the ground suddenly cracked revealing a deep hole full of darkness. I screamed in fear but the servants couldn't hear me for the gardens was far from the mansion. I felt my tears fall on my cheeks as I run for my life but a strong hand grab my waist and pulled me. The next thing I know, I was falling deep into the hole until I couldn't see the surface anymore.
