Briars POV
Bye Abbey ! I shouted from the front door. I closed the door and began to walk to school. I began to think, because it's a new school term, maybe Skylar, Neve and Zara will leave me alone. It's been 2 weeks, surely they've forgotten all about me by now, right? Little did I know, I was wrong.
I was wearing my pleated skirt with tights, my sweater, big square glasses and a pair of blue converse. I walked into school with my head down hoping Skylar and her minions wouldn't notice me. That's when I felt water drop off my head. I glanced behind me and guess who was there. You guessed it- Skylar. My head was completely drenched and my clothes stuck to me as if they were glued on. I felt my face turn a scarlet red color and my eyes began to water. The whole school was laughing at me apart from this one guy, Myles Erlick, who had a sympathetic look on his face. I wondered why, but I just ran out with tears streaming down my face instead. I went into the toilets and looked at myself in the mirror. I'd rather not continue my life being a nerd and being the smartest in every class, a goody-two-shoes and being bullied. I dried my eyes and just threw my hair into a messy bun- you couldn't even tell it was wet. I knew I needed to do something to change it, so it was bye bye nerdy briar, and hello new briar....
