Chapter 7 Baka Soul >_<

~~ Normal POV~~

I woke up the next morning to my alarm going off and slammed on the snooze button, '6:00am... *sigh* school doesnt start till 7:55am' Just then I remembered last night and the almost kiss with Soul. 'Wait maybe that was a dream? Was that just a dream?... I mean Soul is the guy who acts all cool and stuff he wouldn't do something like that right? No that wasn't a dream hehehe!! Well even if he did almost kiss me then I'm kinda glad.. My first kiss... would have been taken by Soul....' I put a finger to my lips and remembered his warm breath so close to them. My cheeks reddened quickly turned over on my stomach and buried my head into a pillow. " Well time to get up so I'm not late on my second day of school!."

Right when I stood up on the floor I fell back on my bed. *Yawn* So comfy.... I patted my bed," Don't worry I'll miss you too! We will be together soon don't worry, I love you bed." I laughed at myself," Ah I really an not a morning person.*sigh* Ok time for a second try!" I got up and stood there seeing if I would fall back on the bed again, nope! Mission accomplished!

I wobbled over the the bathroom and got dressed, brushed my teeth, and did all I needed in the bathroom. I walked out of the bathroom, walked down the hall to the living room and turned on the tv. "Hm what should I eat for breakfast?"

I walked into the kitchen and looked through the cupboards which for the most part were empty because I had not gone shopping for food yet since I moved in here. " Well I guess cereal then!" I got my bowl of Lucky Charms and sat back down in front of the tv. I glance at the clock on the wall, '7:30am..'

'Well I should at least start on my way to school..' I looked at my skateboard thinking if I should take it to ride it to school. 'Nah I'll just walk today' and with that I turned off the tv, put my bowl in the sink, got my notebook, and left for school.

After walking up the million of steps I saw the group standing in front of the school and they were talking. Maka had saw me and immediately stopped talking. 'Did I do something wrong? Maybe Soul told her what happened last night.. Well they are partners it wouldn't be weird for them to tell each other stuff like this right?' These thoughts were running through my mind as i approached the group. When I got to them they all said hi to me and then I realized that Soul was laying on the ground unconscious and no one was paying attention to him.

" Hey Maka what happened to Soul?" I looked at her puzzled.

" Oh he was being annoying so I gave him one of my famous ' Maka Chops'.

" Oh haha." After saying my helllos to everyone the before school bell rang signaling for the start of school to start in about 10 minutes.

Maka turned to me, " Hey ___ can you wake up Soul? The rest of us need to ask Dr. Stein a question about a up coming test."

"Huh? Me? Um well sure" I gave her a smile "leave it to me!" I told her with somewhat confidence.

While the rest of them started walking away Maka told me,"Thanks! Well see you guys in class!" I watched as the group walked into the building and disappeared. I was wondering if I would be able to wake up Soul at all. I mean last time I had to poke him in his tickle spot and he "almost died", I held in a small giggle thinking about his reaction from yesterday.

'How should I wake him..' *poke poke* I poked his face. *Nothing* "Soul! *Shakes him gently* Come on there's only like 7 minutes before school starts!! *sigh* I'll poke you in your side again!~"

I sang that last part a little to tease him. I thought I had saw him move but it was only a quick, tiny movement and I didn't see him move again so just figured it was my imagination. *Sigh* I squatted down beside him and was about to poke his side when he grabbed my wrist and pulled me.

"Ehh!" I let a little yelp out of surprisement.

I was sitting in Souls lap and he was looking down at me still holding my wrist. " I thought I sorta made it clear never to poke me there again?" He gave a wide smile.

I started to blush a really deep red. "I-I'm sorry! But school is going to start in like 4 minutes! And you wouldn't wake up! AGAIN!" I had turn away so he wouldn't be able to see my blushing face.

"Well I guess we better get to class so your not late on your second day, right?" I looked back at him and he was staring up at the clouds. "Come on get up. Or do you want to stay in my lap that bad??" He gave me a teasing smile.

"Ugh!" I quickly got on my feet and helped him up. "Hurry up Soul or else we are going to be late!!" I grabbed his hand and started running into the building and down the hall to our class. We had just walked through the door when the bell rang.

"Well Mrs. ___ congrats on making it to class barley on time! Now hurry to your seats I'm about to start a dissection!!" after he said dissection everyone in the class groaned.

Soul and I made our way to our seats and sat down. I whispered to Soul, "Hey Soul does Dr. Stein do dissections a lot?"

Soul sighed, "yea about 3/5 days of the week. One day is usually for our lesson and the next day is for a test." "Oh and be careful that he doesn't dissect you." He had a serious face.

"H-he actually dissects people?!" I was whispering kinda loud now. 'What kind of teacher dissects his students?!' Just then Soul poked me and I freaked out and let out a somewhat loud yelp. Everyone turned to look at me and Dr. Stein had stopped the dissection.

"Mrs.___ do you have something you want to add?"

"N-no! Sorry about the interruption!" I was getting really embarrassed 'I don't like when people stare at me!! >_<'

After a moment Dr. Stein had called every ones attention back on him. "Ok class make sure your taking notes! First make the incision right here...." his voice faded and I wasn't listening anymore.

I gave a glare at Soul who was holding in his laughter. He was hitting his fist on the desk and was close to tears.

"Baka!! >_< why did you do that?!" again with my loud whisper.

Finally after a moment Soul looked at me still holding back laughter and said," I had to get my revenge for you poking me."

I just stared at him with a blank expression and then layed my head down on the desk I had felt stupid for believing him. "You really freaked me out!! >_< "

He patted my head," haha gomen gomen! But you have to admitt that was funny."

I thought about it and a smile crossed my face and I giggled, "haha fine i'll let you off the hook for this time then." and gave him a teasing smile.
