Taehyung carried his phone and earphones and walked into the empty living room alone. It was late but he couldn't go back, not yet, not while Jungkook and Jimin were doing something inside.

Taehyung walked to the front balcony and sat down, remembering everything that had happened.

Once, Taehyung and Jungkook were more than friends, or what people would call, lovers.

But the company would send him out to act in movies, sing in concerts.

When it happened, Taehyung and Jungkook spent less and less time with each other.

Jungkook would spend almost all his time with Jimin, Taehyung's best friend.

When Jungkook suggested they break up, Taehyung just shrugged and wished them happiness.

But Jungkook's absence in his life felt like a huge hole had opened up in him, a void that Jungkook had previously filled up.

A month ago, during a BTS fan meeting, Taehyung was so in pain from seeing Jungkook and Jimin together that he cried in front of his A.R.M.Ys, making them so worried.

Now, he had retreated back into his shell, shut off everything outside, turned back into the icy cold person he had been before Jeon Jungkook entered his life.

What once was, what could have been, Taehyung though bitterly to himself. Jeon Jungkook was gone like the wind, and would never turn back.

It was cold downstairs, but he could still hear the sounds coming from upstairs, mainly from his room.

"I should've brought my blanket."Taehyung muttered to himself, shivering in the winter cold.
He wouldn't go back, not until Jungkook carried the drowsy Jimin to the bathroom to clean up after what they did.

He used to share a room with Hoseok and Jimin, but Jungkook wanted to swap with Hoseok.

He said he wanted to stay closer to his love, but everyone knew he wanted it to be easier to fuck together if they were in a room.

Every night, Taehyung knew when he wasn't wanted and left the room until they were done.

Taehyung switched on his phone, looking at the unchanged lock screen picture with him and Jungkook hugging. He let out a soft sob, recalling everything.

He sneezed, and continued scrolling down his photo album, all the while listening to songs on his iPod.

Eventually, he saw something that made him break down in huge, heartbroken tears.

It was an old message from Jungkook .

"Dear Taetae,
I love you, and I think you know that. I will always stay with you, until the end of the world. I won't leave, I'll always be here for you. Trust me baby, I won't ever go.
                                                                                                                                                                             Kookie"

"You promised, Kookie....." Taehyung's tears overflowed from his eyes. "You said you wouldn't leave, you promised....."

Taehyung leaned against the wall and closed his eyes, trying to stop the tears.

"Kid, what're you doing here?" A voice cut into Taehyung's line of thought. It was Yoongi, finishing his work and preparing to go to bed.

"Hyung, I can't go back...." Taehyung murmured quietly.

"They're at it again, aren't they?" Yoongi put an arm around the silently crying Taehyung, unsure of how to comfort him.

"Hyung, what do I do? I can't live like this anymore, it hurts...."Taehyung sobbed into Yoongi's shoulder, trying to find a source of comfort in Yoongi.

"Hold it out, Taetae, cry it out, you don't need to hold it in anymore."
Yoongi tried desperately to hold on to the paper-thin scrap of spirit left in Taehyung, tried to pull Taehyung back from the void of helplessness he was about to fall into.

Eventually, Taehyung fell asleep on Yoongi's shoulder, eyes still red from crying.

"He's not worth it, Taetae, Jungkook is gone, but you deserve more than him."
