I didn't waste any time getting back to my dorm. I was so shaken up about Snape's request I didn't really know how to handle it. I needed Hermione. Luckily, she was sitting next to the fire in the common room. I grabbed her by the arm ignoring everyone's gaze and pulled her into the corner where, hopefully, no one could hear us. I filled her in on the details and by the way she looked at me, she seemed to think it was nothing but a lovely fairytale.

"Hermione can you please stop looking at me like that. It's creepy. And this isn't some damn love novel" Harry stated. "What if he tries to hex me or some something?"

"He isn't going to hex you, you idiot," Hermione replied. "I see the way he looks at you. I'm not stupid. Even Malfoy can't hide something like that from me." She gets up and walks away giggling. I sit there thinking about what she could've met; she wasn't exactly clear on that. Could he possibly actually like me? We're talking about Draco here, the son of the Lucius Malfoy, Voldemort's greatest man. I was their ultimate enemy and trust me, Draco showed it the last 3 years.

Apparently I was too lost in thought because all of a sudden someone threw a ball at my head trying to get my attention. I quickly snapped out of it and looked over just in time to see Ron walking towards me.

"You really have to meet with Malfoy?" Ron asked in disgust. Ron hated Draco probably more than anyone in Hogwarts. He seemed to read my mind because before I got the chance to ask he answered, "Hermione told me of course."

"Yeah, I don't really wanna talk about it though," I blurted out kind of rudely before running up to the dormitory. I wasn't quite ready to tell Ron how I felt. I had enough to deal with. I must've been pretty tired because shortly after laying down I passed out.

I woke up a few hours later to Draco shaking me. I had no idea how he got into the Gryffindor tower but I was more interested in why he did. I sat up just as he went to sit beside me on the bed. He looked into my eyes without saying anything. I didn't know what to do or say so I just sat there waiting for him to say something. After about 5 minutes of awkward silence, he finally said something.

"I have to tell you something. This isn't easy for me but I have to," Draco announced as he put his head down looking at his lap to avoid eye contact. "I'm madly in love with you." Before I got the chance to reply he leaned in to kiss me but just as his lips were about to touch mine I woke up and realized that it was all just a dream.

By the time I got up and dressed, everyone was already in the dining hall eating breakfast. Even though I wasn't hungry, I decided to still go and apologize to Ron for snapping on him. Although, he didn't really seem that worried about it which is highly unusual for Ron. When I walked in and sat down he started going on about how I kept moving around and moaning in my sleep. I was kind of embarrassed so I just ignored him and started eating. It suddenly dawned on me that I didn't know when mine and Draco's first meeting was supposed to be. Just as I was about to get up to go an talk to him he walked past me and left a note next to my plate. As I picked it up, I noticed everyone at our table was watching me most likely waiting for me to reveal what Malfoy wanted. I opened the note and read it outloud for Ron and Hermione:

"Meet me in the trophy room at 7 for our first lesson."

-Malfoy

I shoved the note in my pocket and left the dining hall to go out to the quidditch field. Playing quidditch was one of the main highlights of Hogwarts, aside from my friends of course. I had a natural ability for it and it just came really easy for me. There was just something about soaring through the sky, feeling the wind go straight through you and looking down on people that looked liked ants, that gave me joy. I grabbed my firebolt (my godfather Sirius got it for me last year) from the broom closet and made my way onto the field. The wind was extra powerful today but it felt great. It's exactly what I needed. I kicked off and flew up into the clouds zooming in and out through the goal posts. I was in the air for a good hour before the Slytherin team came onto the field to practice. Most of the players gave me dirty looks - except for the one person that's usually the worst. Malfoy was looking up trying to avoid eye contact with me. I thought it was quite odd that he didn't have a smartass comment about my flying but I guess there's no use in complaining; I've waited for this day since I got to Hogwarts.

When I got inside I decided to go find Hermione and Ron. I tried the Gryffindor common room but neither one of them was there so I figured they went to the library - sure enough that's where they were. Hermione was trying to write her essay while Ron was annoying her every chance he got. I grabbed a book off the quidditch shelf hoping that it'd make the time go by faster. The book turned out to be about how the rules came to be.

The day went by rather slowly but before I knew it, it was time to meet Malfoy. As I was walking out of the Gryffindor tower I could hear Hermione giggling, probably writing a romantic novel in her head about what could happen. I walked into the trophy room looking around. It appeared that I had made it before Draco so I sat on a chair in the corner waiting. He came strolling in an hour late like he owned the place. When I tried saying something about it he just scoffed.

"If you want these lessons to be over with then you have to work with me here Malfoy," I explained. "I know you aren't happy about this but neither am I."

He shut up and sat next to me opening his textbook and we got right to business. It was hard being that close to him without making a move. After explaining the chapter I looked up at Draco just as he looked up at me and we made eye contact. The light was shining on his eyes causing them to shine bright blue; much like the ocean. I got completely lost in them until he tore away from me getting up.

"We can meet again on Tuesday," He turned away ready to walk out the door when he whirled out. "And this doesn't make us friends so don't even think about talking to me outside of our lessons." Then he was gone. I sat there in silence for awhile thinking about the way he smelled and the way his eyes shined. Or the way he got frustrated when he couldn't understand something no matter how hard he tried.
