Blue city

I'm in the middle of it all
surrounded by the smoke,
the fire,the screams...

I'm just standing here seeing
how fragile life turned out to be.

How much time and money, people
spent to build this all up with many
hopes and dreams.

To get to see it in a manner of minutes,
seconds fall to pieces all around.

Let the fire engulf you into a dreary
dream...

At least for some it is, to others it's a
nightmare they feel to threat their
lifestyles, illusions, false hopes.

That made them feel unstoppable,
but look at them now, how they cry,
they thought it wouldn't be destroyed
by a little blue flame.

But look at them now, there's more than one
little blue flame around, they have grown and they're
devouring everything you wanted.

You all scream and panic, running around like if you could
save some unnecessary belongings, something you wanted
but it wasn't what you needed.

I'm just standing here watching the world around.

Why scream if they can't hear you?

Why run if it can catch you?

Why want if you don't need it?

But they won't listen, now will they?

I'm just standing here watching the world you
build fall faster than what it took you to build it
up.

But I'm just going to stand here and watch, the night,
the shower of blue lights turn everything into ashes.
