I woke up with a kink in my shoulder. I open my eyes slowly, adjusting to the brightness of the room. I turned to my side, reaching for my phone, turning the alarm off. I flop back down on my bed letting out a long groan.
Suddenly I hear 4 loud knocks against my door.
"Get up or I'm getting the bucket!" yelled Ben, my annoying brother. I immediately get up and run to the door. I throw the door open seeing my brother leaning against the door frame.
"You don't have the guts" I sneer glaring at him. He leans forward so that we're eye level. He looks me directly in the eyes. "Try me" he says smirking, knowing that I don't stand a chance against him. I glare at him, and turn my back, slamming the door in his face.
I walk back over to my bed, letting out a frustrated sigh, realizing it's Monday. I grab my glasses and head towards the bathroom that's connected to my bedroom with spare clothes and a towel. I close the door, strip my clothes off, and turn on the water to the shower. As I wait for the water to heat up, I look at myself in the mirror, realizing I have a bruise on my arm. I turn back to the shower, test the water with my hand, and step in. I wash my hair with a shampoo that smells like strawberries, and then rinse my hair. I wash my body, watching as the soap suds run down the drain. I turn off the water and get out.
I walk back to my bedroom and dry off. I find I nice pair of underwear that fit me perfectly, slip them on and go to find pants. I find a pair of pants, and throw them on, realizing I'm late. I put on a plain green shirt, and some nice sandals. I hurriedly put my medium brown hair in a messy bun and run downstairs. I don't bother doing my makeup since I don't wear any. I run in to the kitchen, grab an apple, my keys, and my backpack and head for the door. "Bye!" I yell. The time is 7:12 and school starts at 7:20. I open my car door and slam it shut, I turn the key, pull out of the driveway, and drive to school.
