Hello Friends. Ive decided to write a new story since my last fanfiction got over 1000 reads (thanks by the way), but I reread all of my old writing and I feel as though Ive progressed in grammar. This story takes place in 1979 and is based off of the hit Smashing Pumpkins song 1979. I hope you all enjoy this first chapter!

(Deans Point Of View)(Third Person)

Dean walked on barren shoes back home from picking Sammy up from school. He stepped in silence, thoughts flooding his mind about what is to come tonight. The bright bellowing autumn sun shone through the tree cracks, illuminating the boys gentle green eyes in contrast to his beaten red flannel and blue jeans. The pair waltzed past a convenience store. Dean peered into the small shop looking at a new face looking out at them. The boy had small scruff and brown hair, but his eyes were what caught his attention. The cyan blue was like a tidal wave of turquoise! The most gorgeous eyes he had ever laid eyes on. See, Dean was gay but no one knew his dirty little secret. No body but himself, and he would take it to his grave. Which lucky for him would be soon.
"Hey Dean. You okay?" Sams voice broke the still of the silence as Dean shook his head nearly comically
"Y-yeah Im fine. Just tired is all" He spoke with dull tone and a hint of fatigue. He kept his head straight and walked along to the beat of his racing heart. He hoped the boy would be at school.
(Cas's Point Of View)

Cas was organizing chips by brand and color when his manager came to him.
"Hey Castiel. You think you could manage the register? I gotta go for a bit, good luck! Toodles" Crowley said as he walked out
"Wait! But-" But Crowley was gone. Cas had never touched a register in his life, though he was a quick learner. He stood behind the small bar and fiddled with the buttons until he found the right ones. Buisness was slow that day so he daydreamed about the days when he could stay in one place and have a life. Ever since his father was deployed Cas has had the zipper blues about being moved so often, yet he grew apathetic because he was 17 now and in 5 months he would be able to stay where he chose.
His thoughts were broken as he watched a pair walk by his storefront window. One boy looked about 13 and the other seemed about Cas's age. Perhapse he would see them at school the next day. The older boys face turned to the shop and Cas's jaw nearly dropped. The boys jawline alone could cut steel but what Cas enjoyed most was the boys eyes. Eyes of shinning emerald, the green of winters frost thawing to reveal a beautiful array of flowers in spring. They made eye contact but Cas turned away, as these thoughts were forbidden. His family was especially Baptist so not only was this a great transgressions but it was ethically wrong aswell...But why did it feel so right?

So this was my basic opener. I figured i would make a melodramatic introduction and then bring on the angst. My goal in this fanfi is to make it more sad than Twist And Shout. Comment your thoughts and criticism
