I got out the car as soon as I pulled up in Skyler's driveway.

"I am going to kill her" I mumbled to myself.

I walked up to her door and rang the door bell. No answer. I ranged it the second time. Still no answer. Then, I banged on the door as hard as I could and called out her name. She still didn't answer. Then I remembered that she tried to catch the sale out of town.

"Crap, I forgot."

I went back into her car and took out my phone. I went to my contact list and scrolled down. I finally found her name and called her. Thank God she answered.

"Hello?"

"I'm gonna kill you Sky!"

"What?! What did I do?"

"You know exactly what you did!"

"No....I don't"

"Yes you do!"

"No I don't!"

Yes you do!"

"Okay...how about you just tell me what I did"

"I know you sent me to the Parker's for one particular reason".

"Yeaaa...to--"

"And it wasn't to deliver that packet!"

"Okay....mind explaining?"

"You sent me over there because you told her I knew Deandre!"

She stayed silent for a little while. Ha! I got her now.

"Okay. You got me. But why are you mad about that?"

"Because you lied to me. You could've just told me to go over there because she needed me."

"Not really. Because then, you probably wouldn't go because you don't really know her that well".

"You could've told me she was Deandre's grandmother though."

"Actually, no. Then you would've definately said no or make up an excuse like 'I can't Sky. You know how I feel about my dead loved ones and memories of them.'"

".......Okay, you got me there."

"I know. How about you meet me at your house later. There's this jacket I have to get before anyone else does"

"Haha. Okay ttyl"

"Bye"

After that convo, I started up the car and drove to my house

-------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been a couple of hours before Sky came to pick up her car. I was thinking about Deandre the whole time, before and after she came back. Hell, even during! I couldn't help but think that the best thing that happened to me might have an issue as a ghost. It's been so long, I thought he'd be gone completely for sure.

Okay, maybe I lied to his grandmother. He was more than just a good friend of mines, he was my boyfriend and he died on the 4th of July, also my b-day. I still remember it like it was yesterday:

-Flashback-

It was my birthday and so far it's going great! I'm at a BBQ with my boyfriend, Deandre, at this very nice hotel in NY. He wanted to come here for the food and his friends, but I just wanted to come for the fireworks.

Deandre- "Bae, the fireworks are about to start!" he shouted to the top of his lungs.

Me: "Coming!" I shouted back.

I ran towards him from talking to my sister, Nikki. As I aproached him, I was admediately greeted by a smile and a warm hug. When he pulled away, I smiled back and he said" C'mon". Then, he lead me to the spot the fireworks were starting at. The whole time we were walking, I noticed he was constantly looking over his shoulder. I asked him what was wrong, but he would always say it was nothing.

The fireworks started and we had a great time just watching them. Near the end with the big explotion, he turned to look behind him, and so did I. As I followed his gaze, I noticed he was looking at some guys behind us that were smiling evily. Deandre noticed me looking and told me to turn back away as politely as he could. I did as he said, but I was getting kinda suspicious of what was going of. I guess it showed by my face expression because once he looked back at me, he told me I had nothing to worry about. I was going to say 'okay' but I was interrupted by the big explosion of fireworks. He smiled at me, and for a minute I was wondering why. He finally said, "You know what this means right?". I confused about what he said at first, but I soon found out. After he spoke, he kissed me softly until the fireworks were over and everyone started cheering. Once he pulled away, we were both smiling from ear to ear. The he looked back again, and so did I. The men that were there a minute ago.......was gone.

He soon told me to go home and he'd call me when he leave. I disagreed at first, but then he told me he was just gonna stay a little while and talk to some 'friends'. I said okay and he gave me a quick hug and kiss good-bye and we went our seperate ways.

Hours later, I got a phone call. I was sooo sure it was him until I answered the phone and it wasn't. It was a doctor from the hospital. They told me he got shot 5 times, and 3 hit the spinal cord, causing him to die in less than 2 minutes. They were speaking non-stop about his death and I was already crying, so I just had to hang up. After I did, I had a melt-down. I couldn't even breathe because I was crying so much. The only time I stoped was at about 4am, and that's the time I fell asleep from crying.

-End of Flashback-

Tears streamed down my face thinking about the day he died. It was one day I could never forget, no matter how hard I try. He was my whole life, and I loved him so much.

Then, I saw a shadow i the hallway. I went towards it, terrified that it might be him. And indead....it was. His shadow soon became a ghost. And these were his exact words....

"I came to you because I have unfinished buisness with someone that I love here on earth, still living. And that person is you"

He was soon out of my sight before I could respond. After he was gone, there was only one thing I did. You guessed it......I had another meltdown.
