"I think I'm mentally prepared for this road trip," I glanced over to Archie whom was picking at his lasagna with his fork. "Everything okay Arch?"
"I'm fine Astrid, I just have a lot on my mind." He spoke softly and pushed his plate away from him. "Is it okay if I hang out with Reggie after this?" He asked, his gaze landing on our dad.
"Yes but, only after you put the dishes in the dishwasher." He said and the three of us continued to eat, small talk exchanged between the three of us.
"Astrid, do you have everything that you need the trip?" Dad asked and I shook my head. "I got everything yesterday with Jug and Betty." I smiled excited for the trip to come.
"Didn't Archie go with you to get the gear?" He asked and I looked over to Archie. "He sai-", "I met up with her at the store, I had to go pick up a couple of things from Reggies' house." He quickly said and saw the Archies' cheeks began to flush.
"As long as you both have your things. Archie clean the plates and you're free to go." Dad said and got up from his seat and excused himself.
"What the hell was that Archie? Why did you lie to dad?" I asked hitting his shoulder, he stumbled back a bit but, he quickly gained his posture.
"It wasn't a lie Astrid, I was at Reggies' after football practice!" He exclaims taking my dish from me, dumping the un-eaten Lasagna into the trash.
"Then why didn't you tell dad that you were also at football practice?" I sighed in frustration knowing, I wouldn't be able to get a single thing out of my twin.
"Just drop it Astrid, it's none of your business." He said finishing the dishes and walking out the kitchen.
I sunk into my chair and sighed,
Archie was hiding something, and I was going to find out exactly what that was.

Archies' acting super weird and I wanted to follow him to see if he's actually going to Reggies' house.
I'll be over in about 5 minutes, should i take anything with me?

I quickly got up from my chair and walked towards the staircase. Upon reaching the top, I went straight to Dads' room.
"Dad, is it okay if Betts and I hang out tonight, We might catch some milkshakes at Pops' with Jughead." I said and looked at him.
"Be home by 11:30 okay? I want you to be well rested for tomorrow." He said and I gave him a smile.
"Summer Lacrosse try-outs are tomorrow, I won't forget dad." I smiled.
"Alright then, Go on, I'll see you in the morning Ast." He said and I gave him a quick wave.
I smiled in victory knowing, I was one step ahead of our plan to catch Archie. I walked into my room and changed into my Riverdale High sweatshirt and tied my hair into a ponytail.
I sat down at my desk that was covered in flyers for Lacrosse Tryouts, and Summer Homework. I glanced to a polaroid that was hung above my desk. It was Archie and I on are 15th birthday, both of us had big smiles and our arms were around each other.
We were so happy but, that all just seems to be fading away slowly.
