Razortail flies swiftly in the starry night sky, her sparkling safely cradled in her talons, lulled to sleep by the steady beat of her bladed wings. She looks down at the vast metallic plains... has her mate's core joined with the all-spark yet? Shaking her head to forget the horrid last sight of Rockjaw's end she presses on to find a hidden cave.
She approaches a shore ahead and sees the rising firestar over the ocean. The bright red/orange orb's reflection is a shimmering streak across the water. A couple moons are visible among the other stars. "Have I been flying all night...? Has it really been that long since Rockjaw..." she trails off and angles her wings for a slight decline towards the lapping water against the metallic rocks. Razortail lands softly to not disturb the slumber of her precious sparkling. She didn't realize her exhaustion until she collapses instantly after setting her hatchling down safely.
She later awakes to the firestar in the peak of the sky. She lifts her weary head and looks down for her sparkling... and she's gone. "Where are you?!" she screeches in horror and jumps up to her talons. Striding around aimlessly, she soon later hears the tiny squeals of laughter. Razortail follows the sound and sees her sparkling playing around at the shore. The baby predacon is sliding around some smooth wet rocks on the edge of the water.

"You! Don't ever leave me like that again!" she scolds, but her sparkling doesn't even take notice. She's too happy with the slick rocks, slashing at it with her tiny silver talons  over it to carve another picture. Razortail churrs, nothing is getting to this sparkling, she just doesn't understand all the troubles of the world yet. "Ok young one, what are you doing here?"  she asks softly, the cuteness overruling her previous fury.
The sparkling looks up at her carrier with bright blue eyes and clicks excitedly and stomps on the rock. Flapping her tiny blade feather wings trying to propel her as she jumps to another large boulder. She sighs and looks at the ecstatic sparkling, she has her sparker's shoulder plates, a bit wider than average for femmes and curving up into two little points.
However beautiful her sparkling is, she's still confused on how this is even possible. All predacons of their clan breathe fire... well, almost all. She looks at the brilliant blue eyes and wonder if there's a connection. The dazzling color almost seems to hold more secrets in them.
Razortail slams her talons with great force into the rocks to play fight, and cracks the little carvings by accident. She then hears a tiny scree and sees her sparkling in an almost puffed up threat posture. She churrs as the sparkling tackles her arm and nips at her talons, it's too cute, she's trying to fight like a full on fire-clan warrior.

"Oh Primus..." Razortail says as she tries to free her arm, tugging at the unyielding attacker "Well, your quite a trouble maker aren't you?" she churrs, remembering the mischief she got into herself as a sparkling. Razortail eventually breathes a small puff of smoke at the little one and she clicks in confusion at not being able to see. The sparkling thrashes around and looks for her carrier's arm and flaps her wings to blow away the smoke. Looking up she sees Razortail and screes in excitement and sits down.
Finally freed of the cute assailant she looks down at her sparkling and clicks for her to follow, and the little one obeys, basic instincts. With some casual strolling around the shore, Razortail discovers a small hidden cove. "Perfect" she says and looks behind her to check to see if her sparkling is still there, and she is this time. But the little sparkling is more interested in a little blue crystal she found in the ground. Digging at it with her tiny talons, she picks it up with her silver beak.
Her carrier looks down at her with pride "Oh, your first energon crystal!"

The small sparkling looks up with confusion, tilting her head, glowing crystal still in her beak.
"They are what we eat, our fuel and lifeblood... so go ahead, take a chomp" Razortail nods in encouragement. And with that the sparkling flips it up and swallows the crystal and her optics light up with joy, pretty tasty. She then goes off to look for more, striding with new strength, eager for her next meal.
