God Veronica can be so bloody noisy sometimes. I don't care what Betts does she can go on a date wiht Reggie, good luck to her. I did tell her to look beyond next door, but this wasn't exactly what I meant. I go to the blue and gold to try and get some work done, but I just can't I have to much on my mind. Suddenly the bell rings and the hallways flood with students, and Betty walks in.
"Hey Jug" "Hey Betts". An awkward silence is stuck between us and we just stare at each other, we just can find our normal.
"What are you up to?" she says quietly to try and break the tension as she sits down on the desk. "Ah not much actually, just trying to get more done on the case but it is not quite happening". "Well we still have to go see Polly, so maybe we can get information from her?" That'll be an interesting visit, it takes a second to process this then an idea strikes. "Yes very true, we also have the funeral, this may be a little morbid but we could go look in his room?" It seems to take her a second to process this idea until a little smirk appears upon her face and she says "I knew there was a reason we are working together" then she casually strolls out of the room.
As I walk to the common room for lunch to meet everyone, I can hear Reggie's dark deep chuckle coming from behind. Then suddenly he's at my side and snatching my hat from my head. "Hey man, don't be a douche, very funny..." After messing around and making fun of me like usual Archie comes to save me. "Hey, give it a rest man", and just like that he has my hat and they're leaving me alone. But just to top it all off he yells at the top of his lungs down the hallway "I'll have fun with Betty tonight"...
