This is based in Season 1 where Riley hasn't met Piper.
Riley's POV:
Me and James are hanging out at the park after rehearsals. With all the stress from Regionals James said we could do with something to get our minds of it all so we came here. We have been together for almost a month now which for James is a world record. Everyone said he had changed for me, that he really truly liked me. Even Emily who had forgiven me.
James's POV:
"Oh shoot Ri I have dropped my phone somewhere. Um stay here and I will go get it. I must be back where we were sitting." I said annoyed with myself.
"Sure, I will wait here." She replied smiling. That smile, I could stare at it all day. I eventually tore my graze retraced my set till I bumped into someone. My sister.
"Piper! I didn't know you came back today!" I said engulfing my sister in a huge hug. She had been at a dance competition for about a month now. It took so long and I was really excited to see her.
"I have missed you too James. And by the way we lost the competition... because of me." She said downheartedly tears in her eyes.
"Oh Pipes. Don't worry. It's not your fault. I love you okay?" When it came to my family I was always serious.
Riley's POV:
"I love you". That all I needed to hear. I turn the corner to see him hugging this girl. He then kissed her on the forehead. I could see he loved her whoever she is.
"So you didn't really like me after all did you James" I said tears in my eyes. He pulled away but I ran not wanting to look to him.
"Ri wait! Please!" he shouted
I ran all the way home crying.
Emily's POV:
I opened the door to a sobbing Riley. She told me everything and knowing Riley she is not one to exaggerate. From what she told me James had had never liked her.
