In the ancient myth, legend and history of Kouka Kingdom's creation, it is said that the Twin Red Dragon Gods took on human form, descending from heaven to rule a kingdom on Earth. They were the first King and Princess of Kouka. King Hiryuu and Princess Ryuuza.
But once King Hiryuu and Princess Ryuuza became human, they eventually had to fight humans. The people's hearts filled with evil, forgot their Gods, and their country fell to ruin. Even King Hiryuu and Princess Ryuuza were captured by humans who desired power.
Just when everything seemed on the brink of destruction, Four Dragons descended from heaven.
"Hiryuu, Ryuuza, we have come for you. Let us destroy the humans, who have forgotten their faith, and return to heaven!" They simultaneously said.
Hiryuu and Ryuuza rejected.
"No, we are humans now." Ryuuza looked up at the Dragon Gods as he said this.
"Though the humans may hate and destroy us, we cannot help but love them." Hiryuu continued.
The Dragons loved the Twins, as well, and did not wish to lose them.
In order to protect them, they gave their blood to human warriors, and granted them strength.
One gained sharp claws that could tear apart anything
One gained eyes that could see across great distances.
One gained legs that could jump high into the sky.
One gained a strong body that could never be injured.
"You are now our other halves. You will serve Hiryuu and Ryuuza as your masters, protect them with your lives. You will love them and never betray them." The Dragon Gods said to the four humans before them.
With the power of the Dragon Gods, the warriors led their clans to protect the Twins, and brought order to the Kingdom.

Before long, the Twin Red Dragons grew tired of fighting and fell asleep. The mission of the Four Dragon Warriors thus ended. They thought their King and Princess, no longer moving, and wept. They did not know whether they grieved the loss of someone precious, or if the Dragon Gods' blood within them mourned the Twins' death.

Realizing their power was beyond human control, the Four Dragon Warriors left their tribes and disappeared.
The tribes they left behind continued developing on their own, forming the tribes of today.
