Never Ending Loop

As they all left the office, Sarah and Alaya were both going to the same class, but as Alaya walked away from Sarah, she made sure the coast was clear, before she yelled at Alaya one last time "Why did you tell them brat? Huh? Nothing? You will pay for this, and I hope you go to hell brat." Alaya ran off, because she knew just because she told someone, doesn't mean it was going to end at all, what she did made it even worse. As she ran though the hallways, she ran right into a huge, tall, muscular boy. He saw that she was crying, so he grabbed her by her hands and sat in the hall with her, asking what was wrong and if she was okay. Alaya didn't care what she said to him, she just let loose. He was so sweet and gentle to her. As Alaya sobbed, she asked what his name was. "Jake." He said kindly, giving her a hug. "If you need anything, here's my number, and call me when ever you can." The nice boy went back to his class. Alaya was in shock that some random boy was actually that nice to her. It was insane. Alaya started to head off the class, but she saw her best friend in the hall, Rebecca. "Becca!" She called out. Rebecca had a pissed off look at Alaya, and she's never been that mad at Alaya, so that was weird. Becca approached her, and said "Alaya, I don't think we should be friends anymore. I'm getting made fun of by Sarah and her gang, and you know me. I don't deserve your problems. Goodbye Alaya." Rebecca walked off and left Alaya alone for herself.
Alaya was already upset because nothing happened to Sarah, and now she lost her best friend, her only friend. But there was still one more person. Jake. And her dad, her dad is a cop, maybe he could help her. But she didn't want to involve her dad. As lunch time came around, Alaya just waited in the bathroom until it was over. On the way to the bathroom, she walked into Jake. "Hey, do you want to sit with me at lunch today?" Jake was clearly into Alaya, but Alaya said "Oh, I would like to, but I'm, I'm uh, sick. And I-I am going to the nurse." Obviously Alaya wasn't sick, but she didn't want to risk seeing Sarah. But the upside, Jake would be there for her. "Are you sure it's not Sarah?" Jake felt like she was lying, but she had every right to, especially after what happened that day. "It is Sarah. I can't risk seeing her in the cafe. But, I'll sit with you. And follow you everywhere. I can't be alone. She could kill me." Alaya needed to be protected, but she didn't want to drag Jake right into the drama. "That's fine. I'll do what I have to do to keep you safe." Jake was so nice. It was kind of like the Becca. Well, the old version of becca. And that's exactly what she needed.
As the two walked through the halls, they ran into Sarah.jake stepped out in front of Alaya, and Alaya grabbed his arm. Sarah managed to push Jake away and get herself over to Sarah. Great. "Don't even look at Jake. He's mine." Sarah snapped. Alaya was confused, and Jake came back and pulled her up off the ground and told her that he will handle it. Funny thing was, Sarah didn't even know Jake existed until just now. Bu she knew she could use him against Alaya. The two ran off, and Alaya just dropped down crying. Jake cuddled her because that's all he thought she needed at that point. "I hate this life." Alaya whispered. She couldn't take living in hell anymore. Sarah was ruining everything she had, and not to mention she made becca leave her. She had nothing. She was done. That night, Alaya went home. She was going to be home alone that night because her dad was working all through the night. Which was an advantage for Alaya. She was so sick of this life she was living. She was going to end her life.
