Singing With A Stranger

We jump back into my jeep and head to pick up Katerina. "How old is your sister?" Levi asks "she's 13, but she acts like she's grown," I respond with a grin. I hope my sister likes Levi as much as I do. Although I only met Levi today I feel like I've known him my whole life. It's incredible how you can meet someone one day then instantly feel like you couldn't live without them.

"Although I love your music," Levi starts to say "I think you will like mine as well." He takes out his phone and plugs in the cord. He scrolls through his songs a bit then the song starts. I have never heard this song before, but I kinda like it. I start bobbing  me head to the music "What song is this?" I yell over the music "His name is Aftertheparty and the song is called The Movies" Levi says looking over at me. I wonder what's going on in his head. Is it weird that we clicked so easily?

We pull up to my sisters school. "I gotta use tbe washroom" Levi says as he hops out the car "okay," I say with a grin. I check the time and I'm late. I see Katerina waiting for me with a slight frown. "I'm so sorry" I say as she gets into the car. Then her frown fades into a huge smile. "I made just messing with you Mimi." I look back confused "pardon?" I say. "Because you were late I got to talk to Xavier and he kissed my cheek!" She squealed. My sister and I are best friends so if she is excited then I am excited. So because we both are boy crazy teens my reaction was another high pitched squeal. She stopped squealing when she saw Levi walking towards the car. "Who is that?" She asked wide eyed "isn't he cute?," I lean over and whisper to her. "You must be Katerina," Levi said with a smile "My name is Levi" Kat was at a loss for words. "Cool" she said dazed. He smiled back and got back into the jeep.

We drove to the sound of music "So when did 'this' happen?," Kat asks puzzled. "What do you mean by "this"?," I answer with a wide smile "All this, you never talk to boys. Well except for Eli but he doesn't really count as a boy." She says. Levi chips in " Wait, you've never had a boyfriend?" His eyes are wide. "Nope," I shyly answer "wow here I am thinking you steal every guys heart at school." He says with a chuckle. "Shut up," I respond laughing.
"Can we go somewhere other than home." Kat pleads "You know I could never say no to a road trip" I answer "I'm in," Levi exclaims excited. "Um, since Levi is coming," Kat pauses "Can Xavier come too?" I look at her "Xavier who?" Levi asks "Xavier Choil he's in grade 7 like me" she answers with a smile. I looked over at Levi and he seemed a bit nervous. I love my little sister to death and would do anything for her and looking into those dark brown eyes who could say no? "Yeah sure, just no funny business, " I say she squeals, then I squeal, then Levi attempts to squeal, not so pretty. 

We joke our way to Xaviers house and as we pull up to his driveway Kat spots a black shadow run across the driveway. "Wait!" I hit the breaks "What, what is it?" "I think you just hit a cat" she says as she jumps out of the car . "Did I hit it?" "No" she says "it's gone" then she heads towards Xaviers  front door. "That's was scary" Levi "Yeah that was weird," I agree Xavier and Kat return to the car. "This is my sister Niomi but I call her Mimi, and this is her boyfriend-" "we aren't dating," I interrupt "okay this is her friend, Levi" Levi turns around slowly to greet Xavier, they make strange eye contact as though they know each other from somewhere, then he smiles "hey bro" Levi says "hey" says Xavier then looks down quickly.
