I woke up with a bright light in my face. I groaned and sat up. Remembering yesterday I tilted my head down. I heard a knock on the door
"Come in" I said lowly
"Gooooodddmorning Mr. Alsina how are you today!?" The nurse asked me
"Im okay" I replied not in the mood
"I have good news !" She lightened up
"Okay" I said bluntly
"One, you're free to go once you sign out" she started
"Okay" I said getting out of the bed
"Wait you didn't let me finish, the doctors were able to revive your wife and daughter and-" she said before I cut her off
"CAN I GO SEE EM" I said semi loudly
"Yea once you sign-" she said before I hopped up and ran to the front desk. I signed myself out then went to the room Sabrina was in. I opened the door and saw Doctor Taylor in there
"Oh hello August" she greeted
"Wassup" I said looking at Sabrina. She looked paler. "I thought she was up" I said a little confused
"She's very much alive and so is your baby, their just in a coma right now" she said
"How long until they pull out" I asked
"Soon I hope, or else" she paused "the baby will die" she said
"doc, can i have a moment alone with her" i sniffled
"Of course" she said grabbing her clipboard and walking out . I got on my knees and held Sabrina's cold hand.
"Sabrina Noel Gray, I doubt you can hea what im saying, but I want you to know i love you more than I love myself sometimes. I blame myself for not being there for you when you needed me the most. I put you through hell and back and your still here with me and i couldn't be more appreciative. Your the best thing that ever happened to me . And i know you'll pull out of this little coma thing really quick. As for my babey girl, pull through my little solider. You and yo mama strong and i know for a fact this is a minor set back. I can't wait to meet you Laila, you are my princesss forever and ever and no one has my heart more than you" I said kissing on Sabrina's stomach before I cleared my throat. "Now you know iont usually like singing old school but man mike did this song and I know it's your favorite song in the whole wide world so im gonna sing it to you"
