Natsu brought Scarlet in to see the main hall, the heart and soul of the guild, everyone drinking, eating and talking. Everyone seemed to get along, most of the time anyway.
"Do you wanna meet my team?" He asked. She nodded in reply. He lead her over to a table where a blonde-haired girl sat along with Happy and a boy with black hair.
"Hey guys, this is Scarlet" He said when he was close enough to be heard. They turned toward him and waved.
"Hi there, I'm Lucy and this is Gray" Said the blonde girl.
"L-Lucy..." the boy, apparently named Gray
"What Gray?"
"She looks like E---"
He was cut off by Lucy, who had just elbowed him in the chest.
"What was that for?"
"Just don't mention her "
"Don't mention who?" Scarlet asked, breaking up the argument.
"Just an old friend" Natsu said "Lucy's right Gray, just keep quiet."
Gray stayed silent.
"So, what exactly happened yesterday? When Natsu brought you here you were unconscious" Said Lucy.
"I was being chased by a monster- I don't know why- and I fell, Natsu fought it off and helped me."
Gray spoke again; "That still doesn't explain the fact that you were unconscious..."
"I must've used all of my magic energy. Either that or that monster did something, Natsu just saved me. That's all"
Mira walked over, "Nice too see you're feeling better Scarlet!"
"Thanks Mira"
Natsu looked confused; "You already met Mira?" Scarlet nodded, while Mira placed a fish on the table for Happy and walked away.
"On another matter," Lucy started, "I need money for rent again"
"Go pick a job then, Gray picked last time so it's your turn!" Natsu said, keeping a smile on his face.
"Hey Natsu, Lucy, can I talk to you alone quick?" Gray asked.
"Sure Gray"
"Sure"
Leaving Scarlet at the table, they walked into an empty corner where Gray asked; "What are we doing with the girl?"
