It was a bright and sunny Monday morning. I woke up happy and for once not annoyed, my brother,Sean,usually is banging on my door all morning.My senior prom is in just a month. I'm Jaylin, I have light brown skin, blondish brownish hair,and blue eyes. Five boys have already asked me to prom but I told them all that i'll think about it. I wanted someone who was real, someone i felt comfortable with. I have a best friend named Chris ,we have been friends since 2nd grade he had light brown skin and hazel eyes . Chris liked me secretly since freshmen year. I found out because his friends told me.It didn't really change anything.I loved just being friends with Chris, I always had someone to talk to and not be judged. We were at a coffee shop. Chris said "Hey so Isaac is a cool guy and you like him why don't u go with him?" I can't ask a boy to prom! "Why its like saying women can't propose my step mom asked my dad", he explained. I don't know dude like everything has just been so crazy I want Isaac, but I don't want to look weird. I mean he barley even notices me and I'm still waiting on Zach . My best friend Christa said Zach is going to ask me to prom tomorrow in free period and I'm planning on saying yes. Chris said "Well yeah, but are you going to wait on something that might not happen? I mean you don't know for sure." True but I don't know i'll see u later. Same spot after school tomorrow? Chris just said "I have a lot of studying to do can I take a rain check?" I guess and I went in for a hug and Chris shook my hand and walked away...
