"Here's your change." a petite girl with a huge friendly smile gave Singto his change and table number stand, "Your order will be ready shortly".

Singto returns with a small upturn of his lips while pocketing the bills into the back of his black skinny jeans and walked over to one of the table. He chose a low dark oak coffee table with a two seater nestled between two white potted huge green plants next to the panel window overlooking the walkaway of the city centre, fills with the lunch crowd.

Singto drops his phone on the table, before he sinks into the grey sofa and leans his head into the back cushion deciding to get some shut-eye while waiting for his orders. He ignores his phone that continues chiming with incoming messages and let the buzz of the cafe lulled him to sleep instead.

"Sir!, your order." he squint open an eye to a pleasant looking server with his order of iced americano and mushroom quiche, Singto offer her a tentative smile before saying his thanks and she scurries off to attend to another table. Singto rub against his eyes with the back of his hand, popped his fingers before sipping his coffee and start digging into his food.

Hours earlier he was having breakfast at home, Krist's smile was big, slightly sheepish behind his cup of hot chocolate when Singto commented teasingly about his horrible attempt at making him coffee.

"It taste g-ood, babe." took a tentative sip, eyes never leaving Krist. "-like my favorite from ben's" eyes glinting in mirth when Krist gave him a roll of an eye, moving towards Singto to take away his cup but Singto beats him to it by drinking it all and smiles blindingly at his boyfriend.

Krist grumbles, exasperated "- you're lucky i didn't make you instant coffee." before biting into his toast.

The younger man was in a black shirts and a pair of black pants that are slung low at his hips with his back against the kitchen counter, looking soft and beautiful. God, his boyfriend look so gorgeous in the morning light flitting from the curtains.

Singto then hooked his arms loosely around Krist. "Thank you, but let me make us breakfast next time." kisses Krist gently on his cheek " i'll get us your favorite rice porridge tomorrow." His hand warm and steady on Krist hips and a slow smile spread across Krist face, bright, like the morning sun.

Singto can't really remember the last time they had quiet morning like that, easy conversation over nothing in particular and enjoying each others company. Krist was to settle some errands and then its all them spending the day together either going for movies or lazing around at home, a little bit of shopping for Krist's mom birthday and then dinner at their favorite food stall just 15 minutes walk from their alma mater.

Singto remembered how Krist and he had shared most of their meals together there back when they were still in uni, and up until now they still served the best noodles in town.

But then they were interrupted when Singto was summoned back to the office due to some issue with the IPO deal that may result in his client not being able to be listed on the stock exchange by month end. Singto initially refused, resolved to merely giving out instructions to his junior over the phone instead. But then Singto remembered how hard he had work for this project, and thus feeling defeated he bites into the receiver to give him an hour.

And before Singto could apologize; the hot guilt bubbling in the cavity of his chest up to the back of his throat, Krist pull him closer and held Singto by the small of his back. Singto sinks into his embrace, and buries his face in Krist's neck.

Krist smiles into Singto soft curls as he murmur, "Hey, I'll be fine without you for few hours" "Go on and clean up the mess and then you'll be all mine for the whole week, ok?"'. Krist hands are warm as it cradles Singto head gently, fingers massaging at the base of his skull soothingly before kissing him sweetly.
