*huff huff*
I ran, ran like I never had before, my body grew numb toward the pain as blood continue to drip.
I would've stop, but the traumatic scene continues to dance in my head, playing a painful lullaby while hot tears run through my cheeks.
The only thing that kept me running other than the adrenaline, was the pictures of my life that I left behind, flashing before me, reminding me that I will never feel that warmth in the past again, yet all I can think about this events was.
'why....why.why...why me'
I happened to pass a large oak tree, seems to be there for more than hundreds of years, as my hands were touching it, my eyes were fixed on the view, the spectacle exceed everything I ever seen before, the only word to describe it, is that it took my breath away.
When I just came to my senses, a girl was sitting by the edge of the scenery, seemingly mesmerized by it as well. As I opened my mouth to speak with her, the world started to darken, and before the darkness completely covered the view, I saw the girl's face, broken hearted as tears slowly dripped down, staring at me with her bright green eyes.
Her face which seems much similar to mine before, maybe that's why I said it.
"..... cheer up..and your life.....will as.......well..........." I spoke in an alarmingly small, soft tone, a smile starts to form on my lips as the last image formed in my head was a tall woman, warmly embracing me while she trembles.
Maybe that's why I said my mom's last words.
.....yeah sorry if it's a bit short, well it makes a good prologue no?
