Chapter 2: Girl Talk

Violetta POV

After the meeting the girls and I headed back to our cabin and we had a girly chat cause that's what girls do.

N: Vilu you said you have a song and promised you would sing it for us.
V: I already said that you'll hear it when I'm finished.
F: Come on Vilu just sing what you have now and maybe we can help you.
V: Okay fine cause you're all so desperate.

I grab a sheet of paper from my bag and u started singing.

This could be so very special
When I'm lost
You're the flame that lights the air

I hear songs to connect us when you're gone
This is everything that we know
In a way we're so near when we're apart.

N: That's amazing.
C: You have an amazing voice.
F: You sound like a singer that my mum used to listen to.
V: Could that be María Saramego by any chance.
F: Yes, how did you know?
V: She's my mother, that's why my dad didn't want me to sing after she died.
N: Wow.
C: So because you hardly see your dad, who do you stay with?
V: I live with my Aunt Angie who is the new singing teacher here.
N: It must of been tough growing up.
V: At the beginning it was but I got used to it.
F: So is Angie and your dad your only family members around?
V: Yes but according to my dad I have a cousin but I've never met him. But I want to know more about your lives.
F: Well I have an older brother who is always over protective over me but he's in Italy with my parents cause that's where I grew up and now I've moved to Buenos Aires and live with my grandma.
N: Well I was born and raised in Madrid. I have a sister called Lena who is the You-Mix star at the moment.
V: She has an amazing voice, what about you Cami.
C: I don't usually talk about my life.
F: Well be there for you.
C: Ok well...umm... my dad passed away of brain cancer when I was young and my mum was distraught, she smoked, drank alcohol and took drugs but then she met her boyfriend Daren, he wasn't nice to me. She had tears streaming down her cheek. He slapped me and punched me and being very abusive to me and my mum didn't do anything about it, she never protected me so I ran away got a taxi to my Aunt and Uncles house and now I live there with them.
V: That's awful, I'm so sorry Cami but we're all here for you and you know that.
N: We're friends now so we will support you all the way.
C: Thanks girls, even though we've only met less than 24 hours ago but I feel like I can tell you anything, I love you guys
V,F,N: We love you to.
F: And promise we will stay friends for a long time.
V: Group hug?

We hugged each other. That felt like a really deep girl talk I've ever had and I hope we do stay friends cause these are the only friends I've ever had. That's another thing I forgot to mention. I wasn't allowed to go out of the house because of my dad so I didn't make friends or even talk to anyone.
