When sadness comes
And your world seems to has stops still
When it feels like part of you
Had been removed.
When even the things that made you happy don't have a pleasing effect look to God.
When no matter what people say you don't feel better.
Even the funniest joke don't cheer you up.
Works of encouragement seems to feel like uh huh, hmmm, yea yeah. And deep down inside you know you aren't gonna follow them.
Look to God.
When all you feel is loneliness, angry, sadness and shock.
The feeling of I could of done something else comes knocking at the front door.
And how could they comes knocking at the back door.
Look to God.
The need of someone to listen when there is no one around or all asleep.
Knowing that someone is there to keep and make you feel safe.
Turn to God.
He will stop walking beside you and carry you.
He will never leave you or forsake. With his arms wide open He's allowing you to give him all your burdens.
In every sadness, betrayal, every failure.
Look to God.
