It was just a normal day of sophomore year for these 16 teens. They walked hand in hand with their lover, they all smiled and occasionally waved. There was Charlotte and Taylor, Kallie and Bradley, Abigail and Jack, Claire and Ryan, Violet and Carter, Grace and Benjamin aka Hayes, Aria and Shawn, Maia and Matthew, Carrie and Brent, and then there is Janessa, the only single in their little posse. They all trail not far behind each other, the bell rings and they all split off into their own ways, after they bid their goodbyes Janessa; I walked to my home room, which was the same as Cameron, Shawn, and Violet. Our school was pretty small, our home room teacher took attendance and then we just sat there and talked to our friends for 10 minutes. The next bell rang and it was first period Language Arts, I walked in, then looked at the screen Welcome back, Happy Monday get your journals and writing utensil I went to the cabinet with my period's number on it. Then sat in my seat. I did what the entry task said and waited for the timer to stop. Once it did we started with the actual lesson " Coming Of Age " " What is coming of age?" Mrs. Mauer asked. No one answered. "Coming of age is when a character or person learn a lesson or a life situation as they grow up. " Everyone nodded and took notes. " Does anyone want to guess a coming of age experience?" I looked around once again and everyone rolled their eyes. I slowly raised my hand, " I believe a coming of age experience is learning how to lie to get your way out of trouble" "That's a great one" She smiled and everyone in that class stared at me. Let's just say I hang out with the most rebellious, smart kids in school, but I'm not like them, I'm not as rebellious at least I don't think so, I'm small for my age. So that makes me one the shortest sophomore classes . Not only short but I am pretty weak, so yes I get picked on for being smart. The bell rang and we packed up and left. As I was walking to my 2nd period a few people from my 1st were heading the same way. " hey, loser " one of the boys said. I ignored it and continued on my way. Then one of the girls pushed me, causing me to bump into the wall. Another girl laughed then pushed me to the ground. They towered over me, and the same girl that pushed me to the wall threw her papers on me. " I need them done by tomorrow do you understand you little slut" One of the boys kicked me, and that's when my knights in shining armor came. Brent pulled the guy off of me and gave him a hell of a punch. Kallie punched the girls that pushed me, after that they all ran off. "Yeah and don't ever touch her again ?!" Kallie helped me up and picked my bag up, handing it to me. " Are you okay ?" I nodded and they walked me to my class making sure I was undisturbed. They walked off then Maia and Taylor walked in, they slowly made their way towards me and sat down right next to me. "Good morning, take your journals out and start taking notes" Mrs. Reding said and we did as told. Not even half way through the class I looked over at Taylor and he has his head down in the desk. I realized he wasn't the only one. The lights were off and not long after the bell rang. lunch time; Almost all of them walked in in pairs or small groups of 3's they got their lunch and sat down

they took up at least 2 tables. "Hey there's a party this tonight you guys coming ?" A guy named Beck asked. "Yeah, text us the addy !!" Jack chipped. They all smiled and Beck left. "Nessa, you need to get a boyfriend or even a fuck buddy " Abigail chuckles causing everyone besides Janessa to laugh , the young girl went eyes wide shaking her head no. "This weekend we are going to find you someone. " Maia smirked. Janessa rolled her eyes and they ate their lunch with frequent laughter. Maybe 30 minutes later the bell rang and they all said their good byes and walked to class. After school; The final bell rang, and all the students rushed to get out of this hell hole. The boys were already out there which is understandable knowing their class was one of the closest ones to the main exit. They all waited for the last of the girls to walk out. They were all holding hands besides Janessa because Janessa is a single pringle. " come on girl, no need to take a bus home or walk we're going to the mall so we can make you ten times hotter !!" Claire laughed and the much shorter girl smiled and followed Claire and Johnson to their car. One by one the cars left the parking lot, and carefully drove to the mall. They dragged her around for hours either the boys that are madly in love with these girls followed not far behind. They left and went to get ready for the party in a couple of hours.
