The Seven Children

Chapter Two

 I woke up at sevenish and saw Dylan still sleeping. I walked out into the living room and grabbed a cup of coffee. I sat on the couch and watched tv for about thirty minutes and heard a knock. Who the hell is up at seven thirty in the morning. I wondered 

"Hey" I heard from a just woken up Zander. I opened the door and looked at him weirdly. 

"Er hey, what are you doing here. Actually what are you doing up" I replied after like ten seconds of silence. I smiled and gestured him inside. 

"I honestly dont know. But for some reason my body was just just telling me to go to your guys apartment. So here I am" he kinda giggled and unsure of what to say. 

"Well since youre here you can just stay and watch tv, I gotta go change and do morning stuff anyways" I muffled trying to cover my mouth because it smelled like coffee. 

"Sure yeah." He smiled and I walked into my room. Dylan was still sound asleep and I grabbed a black shirt and black jeans from my closet and threw them on. I went inside the bathroom and well, did bathroom stuff. No need explaining. 

I walked back out into the living room about an hour later and Gracie and Alli were up. They were sitting on the couch next to where Zander was sitting for some odd reason. I took the seat next to Zander and watched "The Fosters" with the three of them. 

At around ten, Dylan finally came out of the room and the other two boys were already here. "Good morning sleepy head" Brady teased. She slapped him then made her morning coffee as she rubbed her eyes. 

"Im pretty sure we watched three episodes of the fosters while you were still sleeping" I said and she replied with "WHAT WITHOUT ME." We all laughed, already knowing what she was going to say. 

It was like four pm when we all finally got the courage to go outside and walk over to some place with food. Since there was like seven people we all shared the bill. 

"Wow what an expensive dinner" I commented as I looked at the bill. It was kind of a joke since it was at Dennys and Dennys isnt usually that bad. 

"I know right, Im poor and you want me to pay 16 dollars" Dylan teased as she pulled out her wallet. I looked at her and laughed. 

After our "date" we all headed back to our apartments. On the way back though I saw a pet store that had dogs and puppies and me and Dylan screamed so loudly. 

"OMG OMG OMG CAN WE GET ONE" we yelled in unison. We admired the puppies as we had to walk past it. I was kinda sad because we couldnt get one. There was another pet store a couple ways down and there was this beautiful chocolate baby lab and he looked so sad. I stopped. Played with him through the window and we ended up walking inside. I smiled. 

"THANK YOU OMG" I yelled at them as we walked out of the pet shop with our new choco lab that I named Pepsi. He yelped as we walked back to our apartment and I was so happy. I hugged Zander and Brady really tight cuz they paid for most of it. 

The next morning Pepsi was lying on my bed and somehow he was already potty trained and everything. He didnt wake me up at all. I got out of bed and played with him quietly, trying not to wake up the others. I then took him outside to do doggy stuff and brought him back up. 

When I got back to the apartment Zander and Brady were standing outside. "Yes?" I asked as I approached them. They turned around and was surprised to see me up and walking Pepsi. 

"We wanted to see if you and Dylan wanted to go somewhere but no one answered the door so we thought you guys werent up" Brady said. 

"Ahh okay, maybe." I said and pushed them out of the way to unlock the door. Dylan was sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in her hand. 

"Wtf why didnt you answer the door" Brady said as he walked towards the couch to sit next to her. 

"Meh I was lazy" she murmured still sounding half asleep. I smiled and wasnt surprise at all. Only surprise at the fact that shes up at like nine o'clock in the morning. 

"So the boys wanted to go somewhere with us" I said kinda awkwardly and looked at her. 

"Ouh? Just me and you?" she asked and looked at the boys as they nodded. We said sure and I put Pepsi out of his leash and we went out to eat.
