Ron scolded Ben within his head as he put in the uniform. He wondered why he had agreed to this stupid bet, wondering why he had agreed to play cards with Ben in the first place.
'Fuck Ben. Ben is a ho. Stupid fuck.' Ron thought to himself. He picked up the duster and exited the bathroom, a small scowl on his face.
Ben stared at him as he leaned against the wall, taking in his friend's appearance. His posture was awkward and his knuckles were turning white as he gripped the duster. Ben was sure his face was red by then, for he had been holding his breath to contain his laughter.
Ron straightened out his skirt, glaring at the ground and muttering profanities. The bright flash of light brought him out of his angry thoughts.
"What the fuck, Ben?" Ron stomped his high-heeled foot onto the white carpeting.
"Just wanna remember this moment." Ben mused while staring down at his phone. Ron looked down the hallway.
"Why do you need a maid anyway?" Ron inquired, genuinely confused. Ben's home was a two story house with white, well kept carpeting and white walls. The walls were decorated with black picture frames which seemed to be well dusted. There were a few small tables in the hall, decorated with small, lacy table cozies and vases filled with extravagant bouquets of flowers.
The living room was also tidy. The couches and armchairs were a burgundy color and had blankets draped over the backs of them, giving the room a cozy look. There was a small, glass coffee table in the middle of the room with a bowl in the middle which was full of mints. Their wooden floors were covered with a square, white rug and there was a stone fireplace. Everything was tidy and well kept.
The kitchen had a coloring of black, white, and red. The dishes were put away and the rags were where they should be. The dining room table, which was just in the other room, had nothing on it but a few candles and a centerpiece. The chairs were pushed in and made no scuffs on the floor. Why would Ben need a maid? Of course, Ron was afraid to ask about the children's room.
Ron knew about Ben's five younger siblings. He had four other brothers, and a younger sister. Ben would tell him horror stories about his siblings. How they'd get paint all over the place and how they'd track mud into the house. It is safe to say that Ron tried his best when playing that game of cards.
"Well, Ronald" Ben began. Ron rolled his eyes at the use of his full name.
"You see, my parents are leaving for a month. This means that the true hell of my younger siblings will be unleashed. My parents asked my sister and I took keep the place neat, but, I'm to lazy. I guess you can as Becky if she'd like to help, I feel like she'd be happy to oblige." Ben stated as he studied Ron's lacy, black-clad form. Ben handed Ron an apron as the sounds of tiny feet flooded the floor below.
"Guess it's time for you to get to work." Ben laughed. As he turned to walk down the hallway, Ron stood there, still upset about the circumstances.
Ron made his way downstairs, careful of the small children who ran up and down the stairs, and started his new routine. It was time to clean up after the little monsters.
