"In the beginning there were many. Hundreds of thousands of different races all connected, every different race equal. It was beautiful. Humans and Monsters worked together for the betterment of each of their races. It worked because they were so different. Humans were logical, they believed in the sciences. The Monsters however were more creative, they loved the unknown and believed in magic. There was badness, of course, but there was so much good. It practically outweighed the bad. We made ungodly advances in technology, medicine, and agriculture.

It was those advances that eventually doomed us. The gods looked down on us and were scared. Scared that we would outshine them in splendor, so they decided to split us up. They took each different species and put us in our own solar system. Each god chose their favorites and stuck with them. The god, Arod chose us. The humans. The gods planned to erase all memories of the other races, they tried, but failed. The humans, you see, were smart. They created stories, stories that we now dismiss as legend or myth. They're real I tell you, real! You, you're gonna be the one to find the Monsters! You're gonna be the one to unite us once again! You have to! Please, child, please."

This has been the story I've heard since I was a baby. But as everyone knows Humans are the only race, there is only one solar system, and above all else. Monsters. aren't. real. Even if they were Monsters are vile creatures that have no morals or manners.

Anyone who says any different is to be reported to the authorities and put in a home immediately. It has been this way for as long as I can remember, and it will remain this way for the rest of my life.
