His Last Chance

Chapter one

Luna POV

My mornings always start off the same. My little brother jumping on me to make him breakfast because my mother could care less if we eat or not. But today was different. I got up and walked down stairs and saw my mom making breakfast.

"Hey mom why are you up so early?" I ask as I sit down at the kitchen table confused.

 "I decided that I was going to change and be a better mom." she said as there was a knock at the door. I got up and went to open it when my mom comes running after me telling me not to open it. So I slowly back away but I was not fast enough and the door was kicked down. I try to run away but two men with masks on there face grab me and put a piece of cloth over my mouth. I try to break free from them but what ever was on that cloth is making me sleepy and I can barely keep my eyes open.

 "Mom I love y-you." I try to say but I don't know if she heard me because I fell unconscious

 I'm guessing a few hours later I slowly start to regain consciousness and start to open my eyes but can't because it is so bright. I try to lift my hand but it is being held down by something. I try to open my eyes again but slower this time so they will adjust. I look around and notice that i'm in a room with no windows and a few chairs against the wall. I try to wiggle my hands free but can't and then notice that there is a figure in the corner watching me. I freeze and stare at him not able to look away in fear.

"W-who are you and w-why am I here?" I ask in shock as he quickly makes his way to me. I start to shake in fear and move and close my eyes when he tries to touch me.

"I'm your worst nightmare and you're here because I need something from you that is very important." he said then runs his fingers through my hair then brings it to his nose and smells it. "You smell so good and innocent." he says as he licks my neck then leaves the as a girl comes in and knocks me out again.

Alexander POV

I just left the meeting I had with my father and most trusted guards. We came to a conclusion that I needed to find a girl to call mine. I sent my guards to all the houses with single girls to give them a card with a date and time I would like to meet them. I want a girl who is kind, funny, loyal, loving, and most of all I want a girl who will love me for me and not the crown.

"Prince prince." someone yells down the hall at me so I stop and turn around to see my personal maid Marry running to me out of breath.

"What is it Marry whats wrong?" I ask nervously trying to calm her down.

"I think I saw your uncle and he didn't look very happy." she says and looks at me worryingly.

"Ok thanks for telling me, you can go wash up and relax for the day if you wish." I say then start to make my way to the main room and what I see makes my blood run cold.

"Uncle brother what are you doing here?" I say walking up to them suspiciously.

"We are going away for a while and wanted to come see the family, is that so wrong?" My brother asks and steps closer. "I was expecting you have a princess by now." My brother says then laughs.

"Yes it is very wrong because when ever you come here things always go wrong, so let me ask you again, why are you here?" I ask looking at my uncle while gripping my sword so hard my knuckles started turning white.

"Just as your brother said, we are here to see the family and wish you luck on finding the girl of your dreams." he said smirking and starts walking towards my mom and dad's relaxing room, probably to say hi. My brother soon follows. Something doesn't seem right with them and i'm going to find out what it is. I just hope I don't have to risk to many life's to do so.
