Portal/Hadley's point of view
I laughed at Morgan's rage. She's just as bad as Mitch. They could be great together. I put my headphones on, and started my music. I loved My Chemical Romance. And I have a small habit of singing aloud when I hear their songs. So, as I was playing minecraft survival, I was singing, "And only if they knew what I would say, if I could be with you tonight. I would sing you to sleep, never let them take the light behind your eyes." And so on from my favorite song, "The Light Behind Your Eyes."
I nearly jumped out of my seat when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "What the potatoes is doing on?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, pausing both the song and the game.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, Portal." Jerome said. "I just wanted you to know, I like your singing."
That nearly stopped my heart. No one ever said that my voice was beautiful. Never in my life had I heard those words.
"Thank you." I said, blushing a small bit. Morgan let out a small laugh, probably thinking that I should be with Jerome. I didn't want to be with anyone yet. It just felt like it was too early.
I looked back at my computer, and it showed 1% battery. Darn it. I tried as fast as I could to save the world, I had diamond everything, and bunches of emeralds. But it was too late. The laptop died.
"For the love of Wheatley, WHY?!?!?!" I screamed, earning everyone's attention. Morgan, Mitch, and Jerome were laughing so much.
I angrily put my laptop in my bag, opened unlocked my phone, and started playing "Link: Ultimate." It's a puzzle game I'm obsessed with. I can solve any of those puzzles in less than 10 seconds. Before I could start my music again, I played a few levels, just to warm up.
"Wow, you're fast." Jerome said, clearly amazed at my speed.
"It's only a 6x6 puzzle. There's 14x14, and I'm not that good at it yet." I said, getting ready to turn on my music.
"I'm just saying." Jerome said, and continued to play minecraft again.
I soon started playing the song "Helena", and was lost in the puzzles of tricks.
