Chapter Sixteen

Christina's P.O.V 

         "Hello? Liam are you okay?" I said. "I'm okay. but JazLynn isn't!" Liam said really fast. I put the phone on speaker. "What happened? Where are you guys?" "Ryan, Tatum, Jackie, and I are in the waiting room at the hospital. Well, JazLynn and Forest got in a really big fight and he kept punching her and kicking her, just hurry up and get here. It's not good. Please hurry." "Okay Liam, Logan and I are on our way." I got my jean out of the bathroom that were still a little damp and asked Logan if he had a t'shirt I could borrow. "Yes. I will grab you one." He came back with a black t'shirt that had a band on the front of it. "Are you okay?" Logan asked me. "Yeah, I will be." He put his arm around my waist and I grabbed the key off of his nightstand. We walked out the door and got in my car. I drove. It was really quite during the ride. 

       We finally got to the hospital. I put the car in park and pulled the key out. I took a deep breath. Logan looked at me and said "This is the time that you don't have to be so strong. I know this is hard for you. It's hard on all of us." I gave him a hug "Thanks for always being here for me." I said. "Always." He said and smirked. We got out of the car and walked in and asked to see what room JazLynn Cook was in. "542" "Thanks." I said. Logan grabbed my hand. I squeezed his hand. We waited for the elevator. We walked in and went to the fifth floor. " I don't know if I can do this Logan." "Why? You can do anything. Remember when we were little you could beat me at anything. I would tell you 'You Can Do Anything'." "Yes." I smiled. He gave me a hug and we walked in together. 

        JazLynn was lying on the hospital bed with bruises all over her body. I started to cry. I walked over to her bed and said "It will all be okay. Alright?" She nodded. "I will be back in a little bit okay?" She nodded again and I squeezed her arm and walked out the room without Logan. "Where are you going?" He said grabbing my arm and stopping me. I looked at him and said "You already know." He let go and said "You're not going alone." "Fine. Come on." I was so mad. Logan took my key. I got in the passenger seat and turned on the radio. I crossed my arms. He said " Stop that." I looked at him "Stop what?" "Making your angry face." I smiled and listened closer to the song. He started singing to make me laugh. It worked. I started to sing and he kept looking at me. I looked at him and said "Eyes on the road boy." He smirked. 

      We pulled into Forest's driveway. I knocked on the door. His mother answered the door and said "Forest isn't here. He's at Garrett's house." "Do you know what your son did?" "No,I don't. What happened?" Logan said "Let your son tell you." We walked down to Garrett's house. It was just a few houses down. I knocked on the door. Garrett didn't open the door Brian did. He looked surprised to see me. I walked past and Garrett got in my way and said "What do you need?" "I need you to get out of my way." Forest got infront of him and I said " What the heck is wrong with you? Do you know how to treat girls? Apperently not. Why would you do that to her? She is the sweetest girl in your life." Brian and Logan grabbed me and pulled me outside. "Why did you guys do that?" Brian said "We know you were about to punch him. What happened?" "You don't know what happened?" I asked. "No." Brian said. "He beat up JazLynn." Logan said. "What? I see why you wanted to hit him." Brian walked in and punched Forest in the jaw. Forest fell to the floor. I ran to Brian and got in front of him. "That's enough. I can't leave you here. Come on." I said." I grabbed his arm and we went to the hospital. "I'm sorry." Brian said. "For?" I asked turning around from the passenger seat. "Doing that in front of you." "I'm sure it would've been better than me doing it." I said smiling. He returned a smile. I turned around. 

      We walked in to the JazLynn's room and Brian ran up to her. I walked up to her bed and grabbed her hand. She was sleeping. I walked to the window seat and Logan and Brian sat on both sides of me. They gave me a hug and said " You're a good friend." "Thanks. I try." I fell asleep leaning on Brian.
