The Book that May Be

Before the eyes of all to see a creature came into view, fuzzy and blurry, with a white cloth coiled around its eyes, it strides forward standing before all eyes.

Peeling apart thin feminine lips , it revealed to its audience a row of pearly teeth, jutting from black gums, shark-like and jagged. Curving upward into a stretched psychotic smile.

"Listen here and listen close,"

That smile did not falter, those lips did not move, insted the voice hissed through the air into the heads of all those who beheld her.

" Creatures in this particular book are based solely around the creature Zeek met. This means that some of the details enclosed may not be entirely clear or correct. "

A gurgling noise did emit from the creature, it's head tilting slowly to the left, shoulders slowly hunching a her spine bent. That smile remained ever in place.

"But how can this be, how can a breed designed to see all fail to know all?! Simple, no one can ever know all, there is not enough space in the mind. Zeek is not a God as some may say she is to be. She does not have that cosmic wisdom, just a good mentor and myself."

Still hissing and low, her voice continued to echo.

Standing up straight, spine stretching shoulders drawn in elegance. Gliding forward her form began to come into clarity. Tall and thin, the figure was spindly, filled out just enough not to be skeletal. Black shorts hung mid thigh, accenting grey fleshed thighs, a red crop top floated, tattered and torn at its ends.

Folding her hands politely fingers clasped before her chest, her smile fell down back, thin lips pressing into a solid red line.

"Apart from breeds, you shall come across terms, ideas, minerals, and the like. "

Nodding her head slowly, the female stepped to the side, extending and arm, sweeping to gesture to the space behind where she stood.

"This way if you please, but one more thing before you go. There is a price for this knowledge, each one worth a sentence all its own. So be cautious and careful."
