I look over and Mia looks sad. "What's wrong Mia?" I ask. "Nothing!" She said. "Okay?" We walk to school and she still has a sad look on her face, I might as well not say anything because she'll just say she's fine again. We go into homeroom as our names are being called. "Jake?" He asked,"Here" I responded. He dismissed us to our 1st period. I walk to history when I see Nate down the hall! "Hey, what's up?"

He sees me and smiles. "Oh hey Jake I heard you got a date with Mia!" He said. "Yeah I did but something's up with her! She's acting really weird!" I said
"What is she doing?" He asked. "She just has a sad look on her face like I did something wrong!" *gasp* "DID I?!" "I don't know I'm not you!" We both laugh and go to class. That whole time I was thinking if I did something wrong with Mia. "Mr. Jake may you take these down to the office?" "Sure" I take the papers and walk down to the office, as I walk back I hear a girl crying in the janitors closet.
"I don't want to leave, I should be able to choose who I want to stay with! I don't want to leave my friends or my mom!"
"Hey are you okay in there?" I ask.
"Who's there?" She asked.
"Um my name is Jake."
"Jake?! I mean I've heard that name before, aren't you dating that Mia girl?" She asked.
"Yea I am, it's just she's acting strange today I don't know why!"
"Maybe you should just ask."
"I've tried but nothing she's says she's fine but I know she isn't!"
"Maybe she's being forced to do something she doesn't want to do."
"How would you know?!"
"Because I... I am..um," she walks out. "I am her that's why."
"Mia?!"
I hug her and ask what's wrong and she tells me everything , I will do anything to keep her here!
